I bought this after probing a lot of sites. I went with my instincts and ordered this. a free back pack was a surprise. glad to see i bought it when the price was low.nLaptop screen is very big - easy on the eyesnkeyboard - keys do get pushed. Doesn't matter I think. nI have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS on it and it works flawlessly. nThe Best part is - The laptop doesn't get heated quickly at all. It has side and bottom fans - so its always cool (was surprised at this feature since it wasn't mentioned in the site)nnAll in all a best Budget Laptop. Doesn't disappoint !

This is my 1st laptop.body is good, sound quality is also good, keyboard is not user friendly in my view because of only one reason which is that whenever you press a key keyboard layout or say body near the keys also pushed in or out.nremaining all things more than expectation in this price range. processing speed is better ta intel core i3 4th gen

plus points :nperformance is good.nnice screen size.nnice keyboard.nnice looks.nnminus points:n1)virtualization setting is not available in bios n --------solution available you need to update your bios from official siten --------updating bios will wipe all your data some time so please take backup n of your data before doing so . (please go through all the process on official site n Just search "lenovo g50-45 bios update" on google )n2) batty backup is low.n3) some time you feel that it is to big to carry.n4) installation of windows 7 is problem some time.n5) and developers(specially Mobile application developers) if you are planning buy this laptop don't go for it look for another option.

i just recieved this pc...here are my thoughts about it- nPros:nThis machine has all the specifications to run any game released till 2013 fuidly......games released afterwards.like...battlefield 4, assasins creed blackflag etc. run smoothly at their lowest settings.....im a gamer and im totally amazed and excited to get such a gaming machine for this price.....th 4gb ram and amd a8 quad core and 2gb ati graphic card totally make sure you enjoy your gaming experience....if you like gaming and low on budget,this is a boon for you....get it without any 2nd thought. this is the best laptop you can get at this rate!!!! nCons:nthe laptop comes with a free dos system without any operating system pre installed in itnyou have to install windows (or any other os of your choice) by yourself. for those who have any idea how to do this it might be a disappointment....but you can ask at the lenovo service center to install windows and drivers for you(only if you dont know how to do it yourself). nanother thing is that you cannot run games released after april 2014 smoothly even in very low settings....all other games can run quite good with low/medium/high settings based on the games....and gta 5 can be played but with lag on very low setting.... nthese are the only cons i could find...even the 2ghz is satisfactory...nif you are okay with the cons you can buy it without any other second thought. nHappy gaming!!!!!n(this review is written keeping gamers in mind..this is a great laptop for general use also)
