review after using for 1 month

had bought the laptop from a local retail store.although went for the 4gb ram version, they told 4gb version is available on online only, and so had to bought this one instead..lenovo care is not good as they didn't update my warranty status in website.but laptop is so far working very good.had win 8.1 installed and working very fast.although facing one problem of hybrid graphics(inbuilt intel hd 4600 and dedicated 2gb ati 8500m series).but battery backup is good.giving around 4hours at moderate working and far cry3 playing is high level graphics without any lag(almost).i would recommend to buy it but make it around 4-8gb ram to experience fast. pros:batterybackup, graphics, etc cons:2gb ram, compatibility issue between amd and intel graphics

That's Good Stuff

Packing is excellent and laptop received in good condition. Thanks to Snapdeal for the product. Fastest delivery from Gojavas before the estimation day, however there is no local courier numbers or field engineer number which causes to wait me the entire day and due to I put all my other works on hold until its delivered .. As of now, we are testing the laptop and will let you know about laptop working condition in few days ..

Pros and Cons of the great Lenovo laptop

Pros: Best price on Snapdeal for this model of Lenovo laptop. Preferred for those who dont want default OS. Have dual booted the laptop with Ubuntu and Windows 7 and its seamless. Keyboard is very hands-friendly. RAM is upgradeable, 1 slot is used up and another slot is free, so can pump in a 4GB or 8GB DDR3L (low voltage) RAM and the system will fly. Sound is very good for this price. Build is good and sturdy. Gets a bit heated up since the processor is 4th Gen M processor which gives better performance but eats up more battery. Anyway this laptop is for those who need to work on memory intensive applications. Provides 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 HDMI port and an USB 2.0 port. Useful SD slot for those who carry along DSR cameras for transferring photos on the move. One touch recovery button is cool. Dual boot is very effective but be prepared to provide the proper partition sizes. ATI Radeon Sunpro graphics is good for gamers. Easy function keys for volume control, brightness control, airplane mode, trackpad disabler and monitor switch-off are too good an options by Lenovo. Cons: Its a bit on the heavier side, so preferred where you dont need to carry it around, other than at home. RAM is low, so better upgrade if you need better performance. CD drive is flimsy since its fitted as separate component, so kind of gives a jittery sound when touching the cover.
