Well i have been using this laptop for a month. The battery life of this laptop is simply amazing..!! With full charge and a brightness of around 35-40% i watched 2 Blue Ray movies which equates to a total of 4 hr and den kept it on standby for 8 hrs and den again used for 2 hr of Microsoft office with battery life 25% still remaining..!! So this equates to a battery life of around 6-7 hrs. Such a feet for this entry level laptop is simply mind blowing..!! The screen is also very nice..viewing angle not so bad at all. Built quality is amazing for such a low price laptop..!! Very Sturdy i would say. Recommended for those who are tight on budget and want a laptop for their work like excel, word, power point and multimedia. I will rate it 5/5 just because it is more then enough for your basic stuffs and a super amazing battery life..!!

I have given 5 star to this laptop earlier but now with my experience with Lenovo customer care and after sales service I have to rate it 1 star (unfortunately there is no 0 star).

I bought this laptop for my 65 yrs old father. the laptop's size and usable functions are great. it has dvd drive and separate left right mouse buttons, large Chiclet keyboards, large screen, 4gb ram, 500 gb storage, which are good for my father, and it is not that heavy also. very simple operated computer- good for my father. but two things- windows 8 and only three usb ports- needed one more and windows 8 is difficult for my father. but I installed third party start button, and desktop is directly opened when booting up. problem solved. so it is a nice and good laptop for my father.

Decent buy at the price. Wouldn't say that its a good deal though. Lacks in performance even though it has a 4 GB RAM. Initially there were some problems with the screen, which flickered while using. But got the issue sorted out by Lenovo's prompt service. Fan heated too often, that too was addressed to by the service guy. The battery life is great. Overall an decent product.
