Lenovo Ideapad S400 (59-340453) Laptop (Core i3 2nd Gen/2 GB/500 GB/DOS/1)

i have bought this laptop from the market at a higher price than mentioned here. At first i didnt believed it but i again enquired about its price in other shops too but the prices are even more higher than i bought. (all the configuration are same even the colour) CONCLUSION : i'm regretting for not ordering it from flipkart Now IN TERMS OF LOOKS AND PRFORMANCE this is a fair choise not good in my opinion REASON I'm Dissappointed of - 1. the camera quality is highly dissapponting 2. the laptop is not as fast as i expected i.e runs too slow 3. No otical drive 4. Glossy screen makes it look cheap (in my opinion) 5. Battery back up isn't good enough (about 2-2.5 hours max) REASON YOU SHOULD BUY THIS LAPTOP FOR 1.you cannot even imagine to get such a great looking laptop at this price point. 2.ITS very very thin at just 23mm (absolutely looks like an ultrabook) 3.keyboard is really awesome 4.weight is about 1.8 kg i.e travelling with a backpack having this laptop feels like travelling with a tablet 5.sound is really good (Dolby advance audio v2)

Reviewing it post using it for one week. Lets begin with who should not go for this laptop: - The battery wont entertain you a LOTR kind of movies on a stretch. The claim of 4 hour battery back is definitely false. It will last for 2- 2:30 hr. So people looking for long battery life should avoid this model. - A clock speed of 1.4 GHz may not be sufficient for playing hard core games. So such people should avoid it. Though 1 GB graphics card will definitely support moderate level games. - People who wana do Video chats with their friends (Average Camera quality) Who should go for it: - Its definitely worth every penny for people who roam from one place to other with lappy at their back. (Light weight) - People vying for looks in laptop (Compaq & Sleek design, can beat any ultrabook in the market) - People looking for Ultra book features in under 30 K budget - People looking for great display while watching movies or playing games. Personally i would give it 4/5 & would recommend it for normal usage. Its definitely a good purchase for students particularly for girls & professionals who travel a lot.
