Clearing a few doubts:n1. Performance wise it won't be able to hold a candle to other A8 based laptop as it is ULV (ultra low voltage) processor.n2. Higher asking price is for the slimness and light weight (ultrabook will cost you ~5k more).n3. Battery life should be almost same as regular laptops thanks to small battery.n4. No optical drive as it is slim. Though a slot loading drive should have been possible.n5. The on-die as well as dedicated GPU is weak. So dual GPU won't help either. If you want more graphics power, select any of the HP/Samsung/Acer with Radeon HD7670M.nnBuy this laptop if you want a slim laptop that can play all games at low-mid settings but not for power use.
FEW OF THE LAPTOPS SAME CONFIGURATION.. 1->HP G6 2005AX 2->HP G6 2010AX 3->ACER V3 4->ASUS A55DR ALL THESE LAPTOPS HAVE GOT ALMOST SAME CONFIGURATION..HP G6 2010AX BEING THE BEST WITH 6GB RAM, 1.5 GB GRAPHIC CARD, 1 TB HDD AMD A8 QUADCORE APU USED IN THIS LAPTOP IS ONE OF THE FINEST AMD CPU AVAILABLE IN THE MARKET BUT THE PRICE IS TOO MUCH COMPARING OTHER CONTENDERS WHICH ARE RETAILING AT AROUND 35K ON FLIPKART..
I bought this laptop from flipkart and received it before expected date. Very nice service from flipkart. Be careful : It is written on flipkart that, this laptop has two RAM slots and it is up gradable up to 8 GB of RAM. When I went to service center for RAM up gradation. Service center people told me it has only one slot with maximum capacity of 4 GB of RAM. It is also written in product specification also. So Be careful before buying it. If you are comfortable with 4 GB of RAM then go for it.
I bought this laptop through Flipkart about 1 month back, i must say the flipkart service is not what it used to be, i was not happy with the service.nnThe laptop comes with n1. Processor - AMD A8 Quad Core 1.6GHZ (turbo boost upto 2.4) , This processor is built on latest pile drive architecture and believe me this is one of the best processor you can buy right now. It is specifically designed for light weight Sleek Laptop which use less power and better performance. Th best part of this processor is that it will not heat at all even if you use it continuously for 9 hrs it will not heat up like traditional processors truly amazing by AMD( You dont need to worry about the AMD processor reputation as i am using a AMD desktop from past 5 years and still it works like charm)n2. RAM - 4GB RAM is enough for any operating system and light games as the processor is not gaming purpose but any game could be played in mid and low resolution setting without any issues.n3. Graphics - Dual 1GB external+Processor , AMD Processor has inbuilt graphics hence you can switch between them and use which you want, however for high end games dual option is must.n4. Build Quality and Looks - Lenovo laptops are usually durable but this is a sleek laptop which weighs not more than 2 kgs hence handle with care especially the screen as body though doesn't look cheap is made up of plastic. It looks similar to any ultrabook and even performs like one.n5. Battery - The battery life for gamers will be between 2.0hrs to 2.5hrs at medium brightness. For normal usage 3 to 3.5 hrs however if use switch to use only AMD graphics and not dual you can add 30 minutes more to battery life.n6. Operating System - I am always open about new things and as i am computer Engineer i pretty much now about all operating system. This Laptop comes with windows8 as standard and i must say its not what traditional windows lovers will like as its built for touch primarily which makes changing setting in previous windows was easy which is not now. You have to learn new short cuts just to go to run command. However with usage you will master it and as this laptop has no touch but touch pad it is manageable. n7. Special Feature - this laptop comes with reset button which is useful for those who are not well versed with laptops. It has one 3.0 USB and two 2.0 USB ports and HDMI port however there is no VGA output.n8. Value to Customer - This is one of the best priced laptop for its features it comes with a mid level performance with lower price of 30k which is very good value keeping in mind that the brand is also one of the best.nnSuggestion- But this if you occasionally play games or do editing etc. The laptop lacks in durability and battery performance which are not big downfalls considering price. The laptop is a well finished and all round product. nnNote: Some may face issues with wifi switching off automatically in win8 which can be solved by system properties->Hardware->network->broadcom->change auto setting to always on in power settings.
