After an extensive research(all laptops under 65K), I shortlisted HP P077tx and Lenovo Z50-70(59-429602), but finally went with lenovo because it had 4 GB RAM and a Full HD display, and let me tell you no other laptop in this price range has a Full HD display. Also I m not a gamer so anyone looking for gaming review of this lappie skip my review. I bought this laptop for 53K(Amazon) and I m writing this review after using the laptop for over 1 month. Really Impressed , Been a great experience so far and no issues till date. PROS: 1.Specs for the cost: unbeatable pricing 2. Design(look n feel): One of the best looking laptops. The area surrounding the Keyboard has an aluminium finish, whereas the screen is surrounded by plastic(although you cannot makeout that it is plastic unless you touch) but still it looks really good. The outer body has a matte finish. 3. Weight: 2.3Kgs but feels really light. 4. Performance: Its a BEAST in terms of performance(as it has an intel i7 processor and 4GB graphics card). I have run many applications simultaneously and there is no lag at all. 5. Battery life: It gives around 4hours under normal usage. Also its adapter is quiet slim and portable. 6. Boot time is around 10 secs. 7. Display: Amazing Display, with FullHD resolution everything is crisp and clear. CONS: 1. No Backlit keyboard. 2. Webcam is below par, could have been better. 3. It has only three USB ports(out of which two are USB 2.0 and only one is USB3.0), this laptop should have had 4 USB3.0 ports or all the three USB ports provided should have been USB3.0 4. Doesnot has an Anit-glare screen. Some ppl hav complained about heating, but so far i have not experienced any heating even after using it continuously for 8 hrs. Except for minor drawbacks(which offcourse will be there), this is the BEST laptop in this price range. So If your budget is around 60K just close your eyes and go for this lappie.
1. The price suddenly got increased by 5k. 2. exchange offer doesn't take my model number. It keeps saying my laptop has been used in other exchange which is not true. 3. I got a used up MOTO G gen 2 from flipkart with touch screen issues and price tag torn down which was replaced. I am afraid to buy such a costly product from flipkart after such experience.
reallyy specs looks good in intial stage but after using this laptop for 3 months.. u would feel the difference between lenovo & dell..n& specs looks good when price was 55 around nd now 60-61 :/nSimply not recommendable at all...
The first problem that I received is booting, its slower than i3 although it's a i7. The second problem is too much heating when games are being played. If you want this for gaming purpose as per its configuration having 4GB Nvidia 840M is worthless. The combination is not upto the mark. I also found that lenovo's this laptop has been marked as multimedia usage in netbookcheck site although other companies laptop with same configuration has been marked as gaming and extreme gaming.
I bought this laptop over 2 months back. The performance has been quite satisfactory as of now though some minor issues do exist. nnPros:n-Sound quality is good,n-Display is super sharp, n-Great gaming experience (FIFA 14 is all I have played though)n-Feels much lighter than it actually isn-Great in looks n-Battery lasts about 4-5hrs with normal usage and 2hrs with extreme gaming which is pretty satisfactorynnCons: n-No IPS or antiglare screenn-Color contrast could have been better, n-The LAN port has stopper working already (hardware defect)n-Only a single USB 3.0n-The touchpad behaves funny at timesn-The body retains marks.n-The size is pretty big due to extra thickness around screenn-No SSD nP.S. I didn't buy it from Flipkart
