I wanted an affordable lightweight laptop and Z370 fitted the needs really well. The model is being phased out - that and the DOS brings the price to the below 35K. The weight is only 2kg as against the 2.7kg mentioned in the flipkart site(check lenovo site). Of course that is because the screen in only 13.3 inches, so it is better suited for office purposes and quite useful for travelling people. I am running Ubuntu version of Linux on it and it has been quite decent performance with internet browser, document editors, and VPN applications running. I get 4-5 hours of battery usage too depending on wifi usage. I dont use it for gaming, or for movies. Overall i am satisfied with it. And flipkart did deliver it in good condition on the 6th day of my order.
I was using a HP laptop before dv6767tx and thought it was the worst laptop ever due to heating problem and blue screen but this laptop has managed to beat my previous experience. Here are just a few pointers: 1) It shuts down abruptly which drives me crazy. 2) Webcam stops working as soon as the lid is disturbed even a bit. 3) It stops responding once you start running 3-4 applications. 4) Some hot keys do not even work 5) Touchpad stopped responding only after 6 months of use.
I Got this product yesterday. Product manufactured date is june 2012.Backpack Given with the laptop is of 15.6 laptop.but not of 13.3.(this is really bad) on part of snapdeal. Rest is ok. i have not installed Operating System till yet .but will write other detail after installing OS
The Lenovo Ideapad Z370 comes with a DOS so I got the windows installed as soon as I got it. The processor with the windows worked well and all other features came out to be in sync. I could easily surf internet and connect my phone via the Bluetooth for easy data transfer. The USB ports are also fast and transfer of data was also too quick to be believed. I love watching movies on this laptop thanks to the HD GLARE Display that makes it safe for eyes and not so stressing.
The Lenovo Ideapad Z370 is an interesting laptop. I love it as it has DOS as an Operating system combined with second generation processor which makes it worth it for multiple works. It has a nice battery backup and is ideal for multi utility. Keep it at home or take it out for travel, it weighs less than 3 kg and is not too much of a burden. I wasn't very fond of the brand Lenovo before I read its review. This one is a simple machine with a webcam of 0.3 MP, 2 USB readers, and memory slots for convenience. The black colour is elegant while the curves are pretty comfortable to look. Lenovo Ideapad wins because of the simplicity of its internal design and structure. With DOS and a high speed processor, People can install their choice of Operating system and work thoroughly with the 5 hour backup it provides. It can be easily used at work or office. It is one of the best buys. The display is smaller than the ideal 15.6 screen but gives no problem when used for hours. Very comfortable in viewing, and typing, thanks to the well-spaced keys, Lenovo Ideapad is also endowed with optical drive, and 2 unused memory card slots. The screen is a LED Glare Display that works nicely even if you are working out under the sun.
