Great product

First of all, stop comparing this phone with the "flagship killer" OnePlus 6. This is the kind of flagship it intends to kill. But the LG G7 kills it and buries it to the ground in all aspects. My brother has the OP6 and I have compared these side by side. People are comparing these two phones because they have a similar cost. But that's something LG has got bang on this time in India. Internationally the G7 was pitted against the flagships like S9, Pixel2, P20 pro and beats them in a lot of areas (watch top tech YouTubers' videos). Starting from build and design to features this is a true flagship in every department. Now about the cons people are talking about. Battery - in any Android device it takes a few charging cycles for the battery to settle down. Yes it's not extraordinary but it's as normal as it is on most high end phones these days. No issues there. UI - It's not something too bad to get used too. Coming from the OnePlus 3t I am overwhelmed with the options available here. Throw in a Nova or Lean launcher and you're good. The settings menu offers a lot of customization options something you wouldn't find on stock. Sound profiles, themes, fonts, customisable always on display, there are just so many. Isn't this what Android is all about? And it doesn't have any bloatware like the Chinese products. So if you haven't been fooled by OnePlus's marketing gimmicks and want to invest in a true flagship phone available at an excellent value for money this is what you would want.

Excellent Product , Highly recommended

Having used Samsung Galaxy S8 and Asus 5Z, I can safely bet and recommend that LG G7 is at par or better than the most coveted phones out there. Its in a different league than Asus 5Z, and at least at par with Galaxy S8. Form factor allows easy holding. The sleek, longer form factor is a boon compared to the wider phones with similar screen size. Camera is very good, Audio though 3.5mm jack is excellent, the speaker output is really good. Battery backup easily lasts long for a day with my kinda use. 3000 mAh is not very big, but compares with Galaxy S8, and provides enough juice to manage a busy day. The screen notch is not good . I am not a big fan of notch and would like to disable it . But the option give in the settings to disable notch works with only LG apps and thats really inconvenient. All other apps like Gmail, Gallery etc still shows the notch even if you disable it. LG could have given an option to enable to disable, why the fuss with LG apps only ? There is no in built support for dual apps like Whatsapp . You need to install third party app for this. There is no schedule Power ON/OFF option, though the menu for tweaking is so big. Overall an excellent phone, with the inconveniences mentioned above.

Wonderful

Overall mobile is good. Performance is great in terms touch, responsiveness and other basic aspects you need from premium phone from well established brand. However there are few flaws noticed within sometime of usage. 1. Accessories are of really roadside quality. Wear and tear of wires in charger. 2. Back glassy cover is too delicate - 1.5 ft drop on carpet created a bad crack in glass cover. 3. Battery performance degraded badly after 1 year usage. Yes I do periodic maintenance.

Good quality product

Ne Flipkart KUTH L Na MoDd. Actually The mobile is excellent In all aspects. But the delivery was very late nearly 2 months and the invoice was 2 months old. Means I am losing 2 months warranty. All are not only due to lockdown. It's due to Flipkart worst services.
