From the very first day of using cell phones, I have only used Nokia products...Now after 7 years of using Nokia I switched my mobile brand for the first time...And I bought Micromax A25 Smarty...It costs me around Rs. 3800 in the local mobile shop...It's always a hiccup for me to switch between brands...Specially from Nokia to Micromax...But with a budget below Rs. 4000 'Smarty' is too good to reject, even for me...At this price it offers some features which no one can even think about...Android 2.3.6, 1 ghz processor, capacitive touch, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, etc...After using it nearly about 10 days, I am just amazed with its performance...nnDisplay: Micromax A25 Smarty comes with a 2.8" 240x320 pixels 262k color display. Which produce fairly decent resolution as the screen size is small. You can view webpages nicely.nnTouch: Micromax A25 Smarty certainly surprises me with the touch experience. The capacitive touch screen is so smooth and responsive that it outperformed many high end phones. The QWERTY keypad also performs well even with smaller display. You can type easily even in the portrait orientation.nnOS: There is no new to talk about Android...we all know that its the best mobile OS of today. Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread runs smoothly in 'Smarty'. Micromax has made some customization in the OS which all goes in favour. For e.g. 'Toolkits' in the dropdown menu, 'Reboot' option, segmentation of settings.nnProcessor: The credit for Smarty's seamless and smooth performance goes to the 1ghz processor. After 10 days of continuous using, it has never hanged. I have played some heavy games like- Temple Run, Angry Birds Space, Fruit Ninja...and they all run smoothly.nnBattery: Micromax Smarty A25 comes with 1280mAh battery, which gives fairly good battery backup. You can expect whole day battery backup with regular usage. During the last 10 days I have used it continuously for all sorts of activities- net surfing, gaming, listing music, watching youtube...and I have charged it 6 times in those 10 days...just amazing!!!nnAudio & Video: The audio-video quality of A25 Smarty is fair enough. You will get Equalizers and Bass Booster in the music player. Loudspeaker quality is very good. The youtube videos are OK to watch, obviously you can not get very high picture quality, but the video quality is fair enough.nnConnectivity: Micromax A25 Smarty provides basic connectivity features, like- Bluetooth, GPRS and Edge Class 12, Wi-Fi. But there is no 3G and GPS. But the best thing is that there exists 'Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot' and USB tethering.nnCamera: Micromax A25 Smarty comes with a basic camera with 1.3MP support, which provides some average quality pictures and videos. If you're a camera guy who loves to take pictures, then it's simply not your cup of tea.nnMemory: Micromax A25 Smarty comes with 135mb of free internal memory, which can be used for downloading and installing apps from the Google Play Store. But you can always install apps on your memory card (supported upto 32gb). There is 256mb of RAM...though it's to some extent small, yet the powerful 1ghz processor managed it. As a result, there is no lag or hang problem and the phone runs smoothly.nnOthers: Micromax A25 Smarty supports 5 point touch (Fruit Ninja). The gravity sensor works perfectly (My Paper Plane). Adobe Reader, Opera Mobile and MX Player works perfectly. MX Player can play full length movies, even with subtitles. A25 Smarty comes with some good Themes, Live Wallpapers ('Galaxy', 'Nexus', etc) and Facebook pre-installed. But it does not have proximity sensor.nnOverall I strongly recommend others to purchase it...It provides 100% value for money...If your budget is below Rs.4000, then it's the best available cell phone in the market...But if you want a 3g phone or better camera quality, then it's not yours!!!

Guys this phone is amazing….it can play HD games, music player is awesonenand touch is smooth(for the first time from mmx),never hangs and battery backup is also good…nnone more important thing is that it can play HD 720p movies( use mx player and select sw decoder) very smoothly…nthank you guys..nworlds cheapest small powerful android phone from Micromax, an Indian Company Be proud to Say it...

I was using Samsung galaxy since last six months.but it disappoint me as it hangs a lot,and battery pack up is also vary bad,then i buy micromax a25. It works absolutely good,i am using apps like temple run,whats app,angry bird,talking tom.these all works fine.i am surprise that temple run is also working very good which was not in my older mobile.Some one had written that whats app is not working,but it works,simply download it to ur pc and send it to your mobile and enjoy,i am using it from the first day....... nnni am shearing my experience which may help you...... nnprosn1. 2.3.6android operating systemn2.1 gh processorn3.very compact and good lookn4.thin and light weightn5.battery pack up is very very good(almost 3 days without using internet.and one day while using net)n6.very good and responsive touch i have ever seenn7.CAN PLAY TEMPLE RUN,it means every app can work with easen8.very much low cost n9.quality sound qualityn10.pretty much fast internetnnnconsn1.camera is not so good it has face detector too but quality is not so goodn2.low ram and internal memoryn3.somewhat small screenn4.no proximity sensornnat last i strongly recommended you ton buy this phone,it is far better then Samsung smartphones.you will really enjoy while using it. nnreally thanks micromax for this great phone you rocksnalso thanks flipkart for fast devilry......

Good mobile for beginners.nIt takes 2 hours to charge the mobile completely.nI was using apps for the whole day and it took 13 hrs to dry the battery.nAlmost all apps are working fine(tried temple stone, cricket fever, angry birds, and some more)nNo hanging problems so far.nTouch is working fine(soft touch).nCan compare this mobile with samsung galaxy pro(better than that)nnYou cant expect sound.nNo 3g.nNo hd.n240*320 resolution.n120 mb internal memory.n256 mb ram which is not enough(but 1 ghz processor fulfill that)..nnAs I said, best mobile for beginners..

Very good set from MicroMaxnnam an android user for almost 2yearsnbefore this have purchased micromax a100 but little bit disappointednnbut this one made me forgive micromax for that better than my previous galaxy y duos young , galaxy ace duosnnhave used only for last 12hours & not a single reason for rooting this device all the features are in-built such as profiles, call & sms filter, do not disturb like features one click call recording & many more that lacked in samsung device'snnpros :-n1Ghz processor( solves issue of low ram as anytime i check its 20-40mb free ram but no slow downs)nDual Sim Standby( even if am calling from same sim or another gprs works, don't know how as it should be hang-up/suspend until call is ended & can text too from another sim)nBody ( its all plastic but has premium like build quality, back cover/chase made me fall in love with it)nScreen is v.bright in day lightnplays most of hd games( gta works fine thanks to 1Ghz processor)nplays most of high quality videos upto 720p(thanks to Mx player S/W decoding, default can only play upto 480p)nBattery life( when i bought its was 53% & not charged yet still 7 % remaining after heavy continues usage)nnnCons :-nSome net issue(drops net connect, need to reboot) don't know whether its network(airtel) side or some handset issue but before never this with anyother handset so doubt its handset issuenCamera ( nokia VGA cell cam are better than this)nHeadphone ( basic sound quality, use micromax a100 or some other headphones it will make you dance)nNo Gtalk or Whatsapp ( pretty disappointed as all my working & chatting friends are on gtalk & whatsapp both not supported)nsome notifications bar widgets don't work( reboot it shutdowns but never starts the set again)nInternal Memory( can't expect more from this level cell)nCan't un-install micromax apps( hookup, mi store, mi buddy, mi zone)nno flash support but streams most of live online tv channels as well as streaming videosnnfinal opinion :- must buy handset will give 9/10.
