Firstly, I would like to start with its operating system, that is, android 4.2.2. Android 4.2.2 works like charm. It manages the ram very efficiently. Even if you open 4-5 apps at the same time and then return to the app that you opened first, it would still open it without any delay. Though the actual ram mentioned here is 512MB you will only get 473MB. Just when I got the device I was worried about the internal space as I was not even able to update the pre-installed apps like Google map, hangout,etc. But then I tried 1Mobile market. I would recommend to use 1Mobile Market with this device as in 1 Mobile Market the apps directly gets downloaded and installed in the micro sd card but Google play will download the apps in internal memory. So if the app size is like 20MB or so it will show an error of insufficient space.nnNow the pros and the cons:nn1) Plays HD Video smoothly.nn2) Good Battery ( I was using it for like 16 hours and still there was 40% battery left in it. But I was not playing any games. But if you play games it will definately drain the battery fast.)nn3) No lags. Very smooth UI.nn4) Obviously the dual core.nn5) 512 MB RAM considering the price.nn6) According to benchmark software available in the market, it even beats samsung galaxy tab 2( which costs you about Rs.16000) in terms of it performance. ( I have tested it )nnCons:nn1) The micro sd card slot could have been on the left or right side of the device, so that you dont have to open the back cover to insert or eject it.nn2) Some of the youtube videos says that there is a proximity sensor. Even if it is there it doesn't seem to work. At-least its not working in my device. nnEven though there are cons but the pros overrules the cons. And getting android 4.2.2 at this price is unbelievable. nnSo. I would recommend to go for it if you are tight on budget or if you want to experience android for the first time.

It has been a week that I'm using this fon. Bought it from local market. lets come to the point. its a master piece I must say...nPros:nSuperb touch sensitivitynScreen resolution is goodnMax software supportnBuild quality is goodnSuperb 1ghz processor and mali gpu 400 handle HD videos very well. Dint try HD games though. but according to my friends, it runs hd games like fifa14 without any lag. Thanks to 512mb ram. nWiFi HOTSPOT!!! yes its works fine. Bluetooth works well.nVery fast internet speed. It has both 2g & 3g. nandroid jelly bean 4.2 which is economical in case of power consumptionn2mp Cam is just fine for daylight conditionn3.5 inch screen lets u read pdf documents wid ease....n nNOW FEW THINGS U SHOULD REMEMBER WHILE USING THIS FON>>>>n1. Internal memory is less. only 90mb. so u have to be selective while installing apps. Do download apps from 1mobile.com. it will get installed in memory card. if u download it from playstore, it will go to internal memory. Few guys told me to use LINK2SD to transfer preloaded apps to memorycard. I have tried but its not working. It says rooting is needed. nn2. Battery backup is not that great. For moderate use, it will last for 15-18 hrs. install DUbattery saver. It does extend battery power for 2-4 hrs. To get maximum battery life, please switch off data connectivity, wifi, bluetooth whn u dnt need it. nnHope my review will help u guys to decide a perfect smartfon below 5000 bucks. performance wise its way better than samsung star pro which costs almost 6000 bucks. Ordered this device on sat. 26-04-14 at 11pm. and got delivery by 29-04-14 at 11 am. by ekart courier.....nhandset was well wrapped in bubble wrap. Fast and very good delivery by flipkart, ws retail and ekart....nbox contains hanset, charger, charger cum usb cable, extra screen guard, user manual, warrenty card.nNow about handsetn1. display - display is good 3.5 inch. sufficently large with 160 dpi resolution. touch responce is very good and accurate. already comes with a screenguard applied on display. there is an extra screenguard found in the box.n2. processor - processor is ARM-Cortex A7 dual core clocked at 1ghz. with Mali-400 MP gpu.n3. Ram - ram showing 473 MB total Usable. in first start it is showing 121 Mb using, remaing free.n4. internal memory - its very low. only 130 MB total. at first start it showing 80 Mb used.n5. Battery - 1200mhz. 6 hrs continue data connection active, 1 hr call and 2 hrs game use I have to charge it twice. advice - do not active ur data conn. all time. It consumes battery a lot.n5. Camera - 2mp is an average camera. not expecting much from it.n6. Network - using mtnl 3g for sim 1 and airtel 2g for sim 2. no problems for both sim slots for calling as well as for data conn.nnnafter continue use for 1day i didnt found a single lag in os or any single app. or in any single game. i can play games like real steel, into the dead, dead trigger 2 without a single lag..... so happy by seeing it.ni have rooted my device first because its internal memory is very low. Then I install Titanium Backup to remove all inbuilt apps like mstore, mlive and 2 useless inbuilt games and apps. I use link2sd app. and move all apps to sd card (playstore also, because if u didnt u cant instal apps more than 50 mb as internal memory is low. it will get disconnect while downloading)nwhile making partition for link2sd app make second partition in FAT format. this handset does not support Linux or FAT32 format for Link2sd (use a class 10 card). after moving all apps to sd card u can njoy all heavy mem. apps without low memory issue........nnThis is my only 1 day review. let me test this device for more time.nOverall Im Very Happy with Micromax A58......
