Nice cell phone with some good features + nice cameras . However , i doubt if it'll become popular due to :nn1) Sim trays . These have been positioned like ear-holes of the cell phone - one tray on each side . You can not remove tray from cell without the tray-key (stove-pin type pin , to insert into tray to take it out from cell) . You'll need to carry this key whenever u need to load/remove sim card into/from tray .nn2) Memory card is to be placed in one sim tray only ! This means if u want to use memory card , u'll hv to remove one sim & place memory card there . This means if u're using memory card , ur cell will act as single sim cell .nn3) Not sure about this one but read somewhere that 1 GB RAM is small to run 8 cores smoothly . One needs to hv atleast 1.5 GB RAM . I'm quite unsure , people pls. check this .nnI think Micromax needs to redesign this model correcting above probs & relaunch it in market .

A big drawback is we cannot use two sims when sd card is plugged in .....why is micromax keeping these kind of drawbacks for a good hardware mobile like cameo runnig octa core and good GPU..............i think these are company tricks of not giving all the features in one mobile so that other micromax models can also survive in the market.............

Wi-Fi connect but data not downloading. some one will say setting problem, I am sure there is no setting problem. If u disconnect the Wi-Fi then it will not connect again.

Go for Samsung or HTC any other brand

Wi-FI is not working, battery problem, touch is not good.

I made the terrible mistake of buying a canvas knight A 290. As luck would have it, it has a defect of not catching signal intermittently and not catching signal at all in some places. Please note that this is not a SIM issue as when the same sim card is inserted into another phone, network is available. The phone is completely unusable.nAnd guess what, I was told by the customer service representative that my phone cannot be replaced as i have filed a complaint 10 days after buying. He promised a senior representative call that never came. The emails i sent: no reply. Do you know what i was doing in the 10 days? Trying to get the sim replaced, trying to get the settings fixed from the service provider etc because i mistakenly believed that the product wont be faulty. But it is.nAnd i have been rewarded for my belief with 13k wasted on a faulty phone which cannot be replaced because i complained 3 days after the one week deadline.nOh and the icing on the cake: the nearest service center is on the outskirts of the city and is only open from 10 to 5. Good luck making it there during office timings.nPlease stay away from this company. Please. If your phone is fine youre lucky. If its not, there is nothing you can do about it.

Mmx guys provided a great phone for reasonable price, operating this phone gives you an awesome feeling.. Some of my friends are making a issue of it's sim card or micro sd card tray, but i think this is not a big deal, as we also use phones with single sim card slot and nobody makes a fuss of it. this phone cannot be called a totally dual sim phone but nor a single sim as it is better than single sim slotted phones. People are paying a large amount for phones like junk (galaxy and xperia series) as they do not gives you as much features as the amount they charge on customers. this phone got a octa core processor and 1 gb of ram which is more than enough for this price. The only issue with this phone is "it's battery", I mean haw can a device with octa core processor, 1 gb ram, and so many other features can run on a battery of only "2000 mAh". over all this phone is a great device with incredible camera features and quick look is also a great feature which comes in the phone. The touch response of the device is really nice. I must say that the looks of the device is awesome. If you guys are thinking of buying this phone then "just go for it"...
