Ordered the matte white version on Sunday and the phone was delivered the next day. Good flipkart service as always. (well at least in the cities anyway) nnThe phone is solidly built and has an understated industrial design. The matte polycarbonate encasing is cool to touch but does get considerably warm while using quick charge. Before using the hardware, I highly recommend connecting the phone to a PC and updating both the firmware & OS (2.6 GB) using the windows device recovery tool.n nThe QHD screen is impressive and the phone excels in low light photography. The phones performance is consistent without any throttling and the call quality is excellent with its 4 directional microphones. With Iris scanner, hardware encryption and continuum, this is a perfect office phone.nnEDIT: 2 weeks after purchase - Microsoft India just sent me a display dock kit along with an additional amkette hdmi 2.5m cable.

I was using lumia 720 from april 2013 and liked 720 very much, from last few months i have another office no so want to buy dual sim phone and very much confused as i dont want to use android phones. i was thinking to buy lumia 650 but i dont find major difference between 720 & 650 so want to buy 950 but intially its too costly around 43 K and flipkart offered it at 30 k which is reasonable for this device and i order it on last Monday and flipkart delivers it in two days, really fast delivery.nafter using 5 days of lumia 950 i can say that my decision to stick with windows phones is right and i totally love the phone in every aspect.nits an recommendable product.

Dear readers, first of all, I would like to say that if you are not a Lumia fan, this phone is NOT for you.nnAfter some extensive testing and use, I believe the following will bring some points to light.nnnPros:n1. Its super fast, the hexacore and ram make this device a lean mean graphics processor,; from streaming videos to playing games, there is NO lag at all.n2. The imaging is mazing. Beats Apple any day. The clarity & ability to adjust the amount of flash after the picture is shot is simply superb.n3. Display is amazing, leaving all that advanced specs aside, its very vibrant, and even with the lowest of brightness, you will hardly feel the difference.n4. Iris scanner: Windows Hello makes logging in a charm, although its in bets, I have yet to face any difficulty with myself logging in with just my eyes.n5. Cortana: Yep, she is on, all the time, and you can train her to just recognize your voice. whether you phone is locked or not, all u need to do is ask her to do something, and she does it. Imagine being away from your phone, and you feel like listening to some music, all you need to say is," Hey Cortana! Play some songs" and she will play them. That's a clean win in my books. I'd like to see siri do that.n6. Sound: For a mobile speaker, its quite impressive. The bass and treble and really good.n7. Phone calls: Amazing, simply amazing. there are four microphones to hear you and almost all noise gets cancelled out. Trust me I have never had a better phone conversation in my life.nnCons:nPhone heats up real bad, but as I notice that it only happens until you update it. Now its just fine, heating issue is a thing of a past now.nnnFinally, I notice some guys got their hands on the display dock. I didn't. So don't get your hopes up for that. WS Retail is knows to be choosy. I've had personal experience with that.

Pros:n1. Though phone has plastic body it has a very good build quality and also feels premium. n2. QuadHD AMOLED display lives upto the mark, colors are very accurate and will enjoy watching media in this.n3. Updated the phone to .318 as soon as initial setup, windows 10 works smoothly and all the animations are good, there were no freezes or crashes what so ever till now.n4. Camera is superb, the captured images and videos are very sharp and produces apt color.n5. Games startup and run with very little effort.n6. Continuum is good to work with. It works both with display dock and also wireless if TV supports Miracast.n7. majority of daily drive apps are available.n8. The battery life is fine, i get one full day with 24/7 3g net on, two emails sync, with glance screen set to 30min timeout, Iris scanning turned onnnCons:n1. Though all daily drive apps are available and no complains in that, but number of apps are less than the in android.n2. continuum works well through wireless but there is a lag in mouse movement when you use phone screen as mouse pad.

i have faced serious issue with the phone..nphone battery backup gives only 15 hrs (in specs it has 3000mAH)...and no fast charging...the phone have some serious factory defects.. the display gets too dim in low light..and too bright in sunlight...PHONE gets over heated cant even touch the phone ,the display gets too heated..so many software issues.From my experience am telling that please dont buy this phone even though you are a windows phone fan...so many software issues, But there is no mistakes from flipkart..they delivered product quickly...the problem is with MICROSOFT....
