I was a macbook user from 2007 till 2018 .Saw this product and decided to give it a try ,but this product has disappointed me after using it only for a month. I use this product for my daily use like mails and entertainment. 1)This tablet is not for heavy work purpose. 2)Screen has flickering and touch doesnt work perfectly.(mobiles have much better touch sensivity than this tablet touch screen) 3)There are too many software updates and it takes a lot of time to download and install it 4)New software version 1803 is good . 5)The product is not too much light weight ,it is little heavy . 6)display/screen resolution is good 7)battery life is good.(it takes around 3 hours 30 minutes to charge from 0-100%) 8)The charger indicator or tablet doesnt notify when it is fully charged 9)signature type cover,pen and other accessories are costly 10)only one usb 3.0 port (limited connectivity option) 11) I suggest dont buy 4gb ram/128gb ssd model.It takes a lot of space after software upgrade.(out of 128gb only 53gb is left after latest version 1803 upgrade. At the end i dont recommend anyone to buy any surface pro model as there are too many isdues in this tablet 5 star to flipkart 1star to this product

Got it for low price 59999 my use is only for Online trading etc no heavy work thats why i choose surface cuz its lightweight helps in my work. Windows was buggy working fine after series of updates.
Following is my review after 2 weeks of usage: Microsoft Surface Pro 2017 (Seller: Retail Net) Packaging: The packaging was minimal, the seller could add a little bit more of bubble rap. However, the original package form Microsoft was very good, the box was sturdy and not damaged. The Device(i5, 4gb, 128gb ssd): If you need something now for daily tasks and do not want to carry a extra tablet then this is the best option available. 1. The device is a bit on the heavier side when you use it on the tablet mode. 2. You will love the screen resolution. 3. The touch screen on this device is very good, I have not used the surface pen yet so can't comment for the professional people out there. 4. Good to see a mag safe like charger which attaches magnetically. 5. The device is fast considering it has only 4gb of ram, the ssd also adds to it. If you want to do heavy tasks, go for the higher config models like i7,16gb ram etc. 6. Windows Hello sign in, the automatic face detection feels like something from a science fiction movie, very accurate and instant. It also works in complete darkness. 7. Considering its a hybrid, the sound quality this has is extremely clear, loud and soothing. Surprised to find this small device could do that. The sound quality will put some premium laptops to shame. 8. The built quality of this device is great, I would not say it to be premium like the apple ones out there. Microsoft could do a better quality control on the hardware part. I observe wobble on the hinge at around 0 to 40 degrees, at angles greater than 60 degrees the hinge stays sturdy, maybe because it was designed to do that, to prevent over stressing the hinges, I don't know. However it does not affect usability at all. Anyone reading my comments should not get discouraged to buy this device, overall it a great and unique product, really stands out of the crowd. 9. It only has one USB 3.0 port, dongle free life ? or they could have added a USB-C port to future proof it. There is also a USB 3.0 to USB-C converter available with a hectic price tag. I don't need a USB-C now, normal one works for me at least for some years to come. Keyboard, as I would like to call it(Microsoft Surface type cover 2017) :(Seller: GamesTradeDelhi) Packaging: I was initially a bit skeptical to buy the type cover from this seller because they were new. To add on to that packaging which I received did not have the usual Flipkart cardboard. It was a normal packaging like we used to cover our school books. Now the surprise, the seller had managed to pack it very well internally, multiple layers of bubble rap. The type cover was not damaged because of that and was in good condition. The product(Black Colour and not the Alcantara ones): Flipkart should put in more sellers, who provide more colour options. Only the black colour ones are available. 1. The keyboard is a must buy, it also adds to be a cover to protect the screen. 2. The key travel on this keyboard is comparable to the normal laptops out there, I suddenly started loving to type on this. Back-lighting is also good. 3. The back of the type-cover is leather like having a soft velvety feeling to it, have observed it changes colour, shift to the grey side in different lighting conditions. Now the actual keyboard part of this type cover has a rubber feeling to it and is pitch black in colour. 4. The glass like touch pad is great, very smooth and responsive. It is greater than anything I have used so far. Please note, I have not used a Macbook for long term, for the Mac lovers out there, I can't give a proper comparison. Overall Comments: Considering the price of the device, Microsoft should bundle some of its premium software free with this device like the MS Office. Overall I love this device, considering its a very new design I can't say how long it will last. If you are one of those people whose first play and paint was on a computer with that iconic windows startups in those school days and really waited when Microsoft would start making their own devices like apple does, then go for this device you would really love it..!!.
received the product before time. nice packaging. awesome delivery service and product. product is working as expected. worth the money. got a teslar tempered glass and signature type cover keyboard for it. i've been using the device for almost 40 days now and works like a charm. except there is a dead pixel just above the taskbar on the right side of the display which is not visible on darker backgrounds but quite visible on white backgrounds. Don't know what to do about it since the return policy ended last month. Not much of a problem but you don't except it if you are giving hefty amount of money. i just hope it's the last dead pixel i see on the display. beside that tiny problem everything seems perfect as of now.
