Please don't buy this from flipkart, I got this from flipkart today morning and the camera looked brand new and usually i wouldn't have suspected it. But when I switched it on it straight away went to work, no set up, nothing. That was weird, usually we have to set up before getting it to work. So I clicked a pic and checked the shutter count, a new camera will have 1, that means the first pic taken. This one showed 1240. It means somebody has clicked 1240 pics before repacking and selling it to me. I called and raised a complaint, the response was a very casual one. I caught them red handed selling a used product as new and the way they reacted showed this is not the first time. I asked for the seller details as they told that zoomsquare was the seller, but they didn't give me a number or any details, it's against their policy it seems. Either zoomsquare is a bogus company or flipkart is with them on this fraud. Please please get the word out!! Flipkart is selling refurbished electronic goods after repacking and labeling as new, don't buy from them!
I'm a Canon user with EOC 600D, but I have to admit. This D810 is one of the best DSLRs overall. The little time I had with this, was amazing.nnAt ISO 65 or so, the quality achieved with this camera is almost medium format grade, its that jaw dropping!! The dynamic range is out of this world, and the colors are pleasing. You can point at the morning sun and get an amazing image. While people may mistake a high megapixel count for reduced quality, the truth is, the kind of sensor used here, is a modern Sony made sensor that's so good, that you won't even feel a drop in the quality, or high ISO performance.nnIt competes against its own stablemate D800 which has almost the same sensor but with optical low pass filter attached, which eliminates moire (strange lines), but that also reduces detail. For anyone who knows photo editing, moire is not a problem so go ahead with D810.nnThen there is also Canon 5D Mark IV, which should have good quality imaging and a modern sensor, with lots of autofocus improvements, but with a not so bright video setup.nD810 easily trumps the 5D in video quality at 1080p, but 5D can do 4K recording, although only with a part of its sensor. But 5D will be much more expensive than the D810 is, plus with 5D, you're not likely to get a price benefit with supplied kit lenses.nnD810 is fast, easy to use, amazing product overall.nRecommended for professionals and amateurs alike. Not so recommended for those who shoot low light only, all the time, although this DSLR does a great job at it, no doubt.
