If you want a camera for long zoom and want good photo quality , you can trust on this SZ16. People screaming like "Best Camera of life or Better than DSLR" type comments are actually never used more than one camera. There is no such best camera in the world but there are many cameras which suits to your needs! SZ16 is one of them. And never compare it with DSLR at all, its different world. This camera give good photos at any zoom position so you can take it with you for trips. Stay away from Samsung junk cameras. I have used Canon Sx50 with 50x zoom.There is small difference in zoom as many people think that 50x zoom means 25x + 25x, but actually 50x zoom means 25x zoom + 2x zoom. So understand the fact. Canon Sx50 is known for good photo quality at full zoom, SZ16 is not like that quality but it is bad also. As compared to SX50 i can give 7/10 to SZ16. SZ16 has no manual control, no titling screen, 24x zoom and acceptable photo quality. But but......SZ16 give you very nice colours and beautiful skin tones of people that Canon never gives. If you use both cameras at same time, you will like Olympus colours only. Olympus skin tone colours are true to life but Canon colours are yellowish, sometimes in Flash photos ,canon colours looks like burned yellow skin. Buy this camera for good photos, less price, good camera body and long zoom Be assured for image quality, its good
