VOOC is an acronym for Voltage Open Loop Multi-step Constant-Current Charging, it is a kind of fast charging technology which allows your phone to charge upto 75% in just 30 minutes. This technology is launched by OPPO and is a real boom in the market. The major advantage of using this technology is that it doesnt heat up your device even after using twice the Power compared to normal charging technology.  This technology is generally supported in most of the OPPO devices.

To confirm if the charger you are purchasing is VOOC supported check for the sign mentioned below:

Quick charging enables your device to charge your phone in relatively very less time. Quick Charge 3.0 uses some algorithm knows as Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV), which allows voltage level to be adjusted automatically based on the voltage supported by the device. In this technology a range of voltage is specified and based on device any voltage is chosen from the range, hence giving the maximum efficiency. Quick charge 3.0 supports voltage range from 3.6V to 12V whereas Quick charge 4.0 supports voltage ranges from 3.3V to 20V. It is also claimed that quick charge can charge your phone for 5 hours use in just 5 minutes.

For more information on quick charge 3.0 check below video:
