Samsung AR12HV5NBWK 1 Ton Inverter Split AC

I bought this last summer (not on flipkart). Paid 41000 including double boost stabilizer. Agreed it is a little expensive upfront but the savings are amazing. Cooling is also uniform and there are no start-stop cycles. In my previous rented house I had a Samsung 2star 1.5 ton AC and I ran a bill of 8000 in 2 months. With this one, my bill came down to 2500 / 2 months. (Off topic - I further brought it down to 1300 / 2 months by switching all lights to LED and fans to DC fans) nnOne thing to note: the savings will be visible only if the usage is for longer hours (more than 5-6 hours continuously). For those users who switch on AC for an hour or so and switch it off and sleep, this will actually consume more power. It's because it consumes max power in the first half hour and then uses marginal power to maintain that cooling for the remaining duration. For me, it remains on for at least 12-14 hours from evening till next morning - and it only takes about 3-4 units for this.
