As a long-time Samsung user and the owner of an S10+, I was looking for a replacement for my ageing Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime. My primary focus was on bands. I wanted a phone that would have working 4G in the Caribbean, US, UK, and India, if possible, working 5G in these places as well. The latter sounds like I want to have my cake and eat it too. While I'm aware that the flagship phones would fit the bill, I wanted to buy a second phone that I could use globally without breaking the bank. After comparing all phones in the 15 to 25000 Rupee price range, I settled on the Samsung M33 5G with 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage. This phone has the bands to support Vi in India and T-mobile in the US. The camera quality is decent, and the battery lasts roughly two days with my usage. The power key on the side doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. This is a pro or a con, depending on whether you like to unlock the phone as you pick it up, as it reads the fingerprint on your index finger. Switching between apps, scrolling, and video playback is smooth.
