i bought this laptop 2 month ago from flipkart. flipkart taken almost 15 days to deliver this by courier after taking many followup .. initially i was very happy with this laptop soon i realize that i bought very cheap quality laptop from samsung . within two month body color near to keyboard almost white & screen got scratched due to faulty design of this laptop. please beware from samsung product specially Laptop..

I bought this laptop [ Samsung NP300E5X-S01IN Laptop (3rd Gen Ci5/ 4GB/ 750GB/ DOS/ 1GB Graph) ] from flipkart last month and am not satisfied with the overall experience except the service experience of quick delivery from flipkart. I am absolutely pissed off with the quality of finishing of this product that flipkart has shipped - there are unfinished plastic frame edges which can sharply harm the user and moreover no policy of exchanging the goods if you realize the user experience on just opening the product is not good enough as it shows on the picture on website or you want to exchange it for a higer configuration just because you feel this is not the product you were really looking for so many days and finally ordered. So essentially not a good customer experience as you feel dejected when you are stuck with such a product after spending so much of your hard earned money ?

I find it extremely funny that most manufacturers bundle a Nvidia 610m along with 3rd gen Intel chips. I can no longer stand to see how not so tech savy customers looking for a good gaming platform are being fooled into buying this laptop, just because it carries an nvidia badge. I'm gonna clear some misconceptions here.nnThe integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics of the 3rd Gen Intel laptop chips are as a matter of fact, slightly FASTER than the low end 610m in most games! Go online and do some research on your own, check out the benchmarks, and you'll see the truth. They should have atleast put a medium power nvidia 630m along with this configuration, because the 610m is so pityfully weak. Not only are they WASTING battery power with the nonsense 610m, they are also making it run HOTTER, and making the lappy COSTLIER by atleast 1500rs!!!nnThe only plus point about this laptop is that it has a powerful 3rd Gen i5 CPU. Good for business use, but HORRIBLE for gaming.nnFor those considering a GAMING PC, you can get a MUCH MUCH better laptop deal with the HP G6-2010AX. nAlthough the A8's CPU is a bit weaker than the i5 in single threaded software, it does well with modern mutli-threaded and OpenCL accelerated software. The spotlight however, is the Radeon 7670M graphics chip. It's equivalent to a nvidia 630m, and will very easily DESTROY both the 610m and the HD4000 graphics in gaming. Infact, even AMD's integrated Radeon 7640G is more powerful than both the 610m and Intel HD4000!!! And if you CrossFire the dual Radeon graphics, you've got yourself a graphics monster:)nOn top of that, for 2-3k cheaper, you get a 1TB harddisc, and 6GB's of RAM, and a nice 90W laptop charger:) Now that's what you call Value for money!! :DnnIf your insitant on buying Samsung only, there's a good deal with the Samsung NP355V5C-S03IN, but that's a bit lower spec'ed that the HP one above because it has Win7 installed on it.

Definitely not for power users. the configuration is good but performance does not scale to the expectation. Very bad user experience. not caps lock indicator, slightly misplaced mouse pad is very problematic. Even the placement of keys is very bad.

the samsungs in the np series of laptops have cheap keyboards, poor quality casing and sad mouse buttons. everything seems beautiful and nice for the first 2 months or so, and then things start falling apart. my screen doesn't shut all the way down properly anymore, i never liked the keyboard response, and somehow its gotten worse, the mouse buttons have gotten lose. the bottom casing doesn't tighten all the way and is therefore squeaky in may places. nnit was great for 2 months, and now i wish i could just give it back and get my money so i could buy a good ole dell
