I bought this product an year ago.I like it in every aspect.Less weight and size compared to SLR.Photos are super clear and crisp.Trust me: it is like SLR pics, super HD.I took a pic in full night and i was able to capture the entire area that looked as though it was shot at 6 pm.nnBattery takes hell lot of time minimum 12 hours to get charged but it lasts till the last drop of energy left.

GoodnA proper APS-C camera at this price is hard to come! The Image Quality is as good as any other DSLR and infact surpasses some of the Canons.nThe sensor is same as the costlier Sonys like A58. Colours are great and ISO rocks.nFocusing was better than I expected from a mirrorless.nBuild quality is good, the kit lens is good, comes with a hotshoe which is not present in some NEXs so that's a plus.nBadnThe button placement can be better but that is something we can get used to after some usage.nVideo quality is very good but the audio reception was not upto the mark.nThe battery could have been better, most of the time you have to use the LCD display and with some heavy shooting it wouldn't last too long compared to the traditional DSLRs.nThe battery has to be charged when inside the camera like you phone. Sony would do better if they provided an external charger. But I guess they tried their best to keep the cost low.nUglynIf you are used to a viewfinder, this will be a huge let down. Don't even think of using the viewfinder in day light. The LCD is manageable in daylight but you may go off with the composition.nOverall at this price point it is too good. You get APS-C quality at P&S price. Go for it if you want some serious IQ but not too bothered about focus speed & viewfinder.

This is awesome Camera, even though as a amateur I could take pictures of landscape and individuals snapshots with good quality. It is easy to operate. Cos: Only thing I see is additional lens which fits this camera SEL55-300 is little expensive.

The camera is better than what I had expected. Ease of use as well as quality of photographs has been very good. Of course I am really an amateur and have still not been able to use all the options that the Camera provides. The only hitch is that there are very few lens options and I am still waiting to buy a bigger zoom lens (55-210)
