A good gift, even when expectations runs higher. I gave this cam to my 15 year old son on his birthday and to my surprise he liked it. He wanted a gadget and I didn't want to give him a mobile. Also, his expectations were higher since he lives in his iPod. So, after some research got this and wasn't sure if he is going to like it. Here is the verdict - it's not just about getting a gadget spoiled kid build a hobby, but the cam takes great pics too. He took some pics like a pro in weird angles and lighting and I was amazed that all of those high quality pics had come out of this. I never tried other models, so can't really compare. But this one is satisfying indeed. For the mid oldies, even if your hands are shaky, it still gives out a 'steady' pic. So I can use it too without having any fear of hearing, 'kya yaar, tune share kar diya'.
I got this camera 2 days back and it is really good. Image clarity and video both are good. Previously I was looking for canon 130 IS but I compared and used both the camera and came to know this is better..........
