The worst decision of my life was to buy a SONY product!! A purchased the VAIO E series SVE15113ENW. I thought I was buying a good quality product but very soon my dreams were transformed to nightmares by SONY's cheap unreliable product and cheap business tactics! There consumer support is one of a kind in this entire universe!! You give them the product to rectify a problem.......they keep you waiting.......charge you a fortune.....they say that the product not only had the problems that you pointed out......they make the list long.... When you use the product yourself you find that either the problem you complained for is not at all rectified or/and some new problems have been blessed to your device by there service idiots!!! Call up the customer care about the carelessness, inefficiency of there service centres, they give you an email address saying that they cannot do anything for that mail to the email address provided. No one replies to the mails!!!!! I REGRET BUYING A SONY I SHALL NEVER BUY ANYTHING OF SONY NOT EVEN AN EARPHONE!!!
I bought this laptop for my office use. My office reimburse me these utility charges but with genuine bill and tags only. This laptop neither have a windows professional tag nor comes with windows professional and other software cds. So, I requested for a replacement but the seller refused it saying that product is not damaged. What is the point of buying a product if you do not get what you have expected. A simple replacement/refund would have been sufficient. My requirement was really simple and mostly laptop do come with genuine windows tag. I didn't knew that this laptop do not come with such things. Flipkart should have mentioned the same in there description.
This laptop is not that great. Its better to go for other options like Dell, or Lenovo. Sony is not an option to consider when it comes to laptops. The system is not that stable. The touchpad is not sensitive. You need to hit the touchpad to select an item. Sometimes, even if you hit it, it may not respond. The performance is not upto the mark. The speaker quality is bad. The wifi signal reception is also weak. I would not recommend this laptop for this price. And its always better to consider other brands, which are competitive enough in pricing.
I bought this laptop on 20th December and was waiting to give feedback after usage of 15 days.I did kinda good research to get a good laptop for a long run without compromising with the quality.In this world of online shopping one may feel deterrent to buy a laptop online but stick to FLIPKART if want to have tension free experience,and so that i did. Selecting laptops among a pool of brands and their config is really a cumbersome and brainstorming.I went through SONY,DELL,LENOVO,ACER and ASUS laptops and as of my requirement of i-series,4GB RAM with >2GHz Proccessor and most and foremost was screen size that i decided as 14-inch.After a long delibrations and research i found SONY VAIO as reliable and trustworthy. In that i preferred E-series because of its stunning performance and looks.I did some compromise on my budget and slid the bar to 42k. Overall after using it for 15 days i found it very easy and less worrying performance.Battery backup is well and good,Video: not a question in sony laptops,Booting time:5-7 sec,No lag after getting out of sleep,At a tym i opened more than 15 tabs in chrome and mozilla simultaneously ,wonder it worked very well without crashing,Windows8-pro so bit confusing in earlier days for win-7 users,Got CASHBACK OF 2100 that payed off my interest on EMI :) OVERALL IF U WANT HAVE A WONDERFUL LAPTOP EXPERIENCE GO FOR IT.
