Purchased several of these machines for my team about a month ago. Overall the machine works well: Performs well for this configuration and price. However, the machine has some severe heating issues after about one hour of operation. Typically if you run multiple applications, tools for over an hour, the laptop heats up significantly. I have been a regular user of sony vaio laptops in the past - and usually love them! So I didn't expect such kind of engineering problems from Sony. I recommend not to purchase this laptop if you plan to use it for extended periods of time. Perhaps look at a 3rd generation CPU alternatives within vaio which may have fixed / avoided such problems.
I think this is the best laptop with good price and great specifications. I bought the white colour and its a beauty! The speakers sound clarity is awesome and have better web cam than older ones.With 1GB graphic card .you can play mostly every game . The architecture of the laptop is really good.Just go for it!
i have bought this laptop 1 month back......it is working very good.... AMD radeon GC is awesome......GC is capable of plaing the games demanding high graphics processing....every game will be supported.....but battery back up is only upto 3hrs....in this price range this is the best 1..........
I have been using the Laptop from the past 1 year and on my Experience I Will Rate The Laptop On its Different Specifications Display-10 Battery-8 Memory-10 RAM-10 Gaming-10 Entartainment Purposes-9 Overall-9.9 Just go for it!!!!
i purchased this laptop 1 year ago from sony center... Its Best for all purpose... best battery backup.. speed and graphics... Works fine in if you run Linux distro too.. no heating .. i used it more than 12 hrs continuously...
