Sony VAIO SVE1513ACNB Laptop (2nd Gen Ci3/ 2GB/ 500GB/ Win8) As per the name, the product "Sony Vaio" stands up tall. AWESOME product!!!! I am a proud owner of this laptop. Received the product on 11th June 2013 & tested the browsing options, apps..Windows 8 ;) cool experience at an affordable price. Good go for the money!! Thank you WS Retail for transporting the item without a scratch, you guys deserve a pat on your back. As I understand, WS retail is none other than Flipkart's own retail services and its exception service. One regret is no added accessories, brought a frown in my face :( that would be an added vantage for all customers, as freebies bring a smile to all. Although i bought this laptop from local retailer due to the reviews given by many people on different shopping carts. Truth being this product is really slow and not dependable. I have been using this product for the past 1 year and many at times I have lost my data due to hard disk usage reaches 100% even in light development environment. I m writing review because anybody else if buying sony please buy a higher end model than this one. This one is really of no use for 30K.
I purchased this laptop an year back and this has been a complete waste of money. It constantly freezes as the disc usage automatically goes to 100% without any major programs opened. The use of motion sensor makes the upper left part of the screen unresponsive and you can't click any icon there. Have to minimize the window to click the icons or restart it. The front camera quality is pathetic. Even my samsung netbook N-146 has a better camera than this.
not a great choice for someone who's on-the-go... this is way too slow.... its been 6 months for my laptop and i don't want it anymore... the speakers have stopped working already and its just slow for god knows what reason! and its been like this since day 1! i would not recommend this to anyone! HP is way better!
The body is very very bad. The hinges are smaller and the screen gets loose in a year. Vaio is a great choice but only the highline ones and Not this one. Internally its great but the physical work is extremely upsetting. The screws in the base tend to fall off ! You can contact me for pictures if you want. I would recommend Acer laptops which are far far better if we just add 3-4 grands more. It(acer) comes with a touch too. You could even go for ipad mini.
