I had a horrible experience with this.nI cant believe I would have such a problem with a Sony product.nnI did not receive a drivers cd/dvd with this product. And I cannot locate the drivers for this particular model anywhere online! Even on the Sony support website.nnWhats worse- I called sony support, and I got the most rude response, the support executive was talking to me like he's doing me a favor. And insisted that I buy an original Windows copy, even though I told him 10 times that it was original. After all his reluctant attempts to solve my problem, he decided to tell me his senior will call me back with a solution, and obviously I never recieved a call back.nnSo im stuck with this stupid machine. Without the drivers cant do anything with it.nnnAnd flipkart decreased the price of the laptop by Rs.1000 the day it was delivered to me. Shame on you flipkart.

I bought this laptop few days back, first we installed windows 7 32 bit and then we could not find any drivers for that, then Sony support said that it supports only 64 bit we tried installing 64 bit but got error, now sony support says this laptop is not compatible with the winodws....what ???????????nshould'nt they mention that this is not compatible with Windows...anyways now I have raised a replacement request and God knows what flipkart is going to do with that.nFlipkart never replied with the concerns regarding the replacements..nI have to conclude that those good old days are gone when Flipkart used to replace orders quickly, now they are not entertaining those at all...nFinally after lot of struggle I managed to have windows7, 64 bt installed and it is working fine.

If you all have a brain (and an internet connection maybe) you'd have known that Linux DOES NOT require any drivers! I have used Linux on my PC since about 3 years and have NEVER-EVER downloaded or installed any drivers and my PC works 100% the way it should. Movie, Songs, DVD-Burner, Printer, keyboard, etc. are all working without the need of installing any drivers.nnAnd since this comes pre-loaded with Red Flag Linux, maybe you hate the UI. So either you can buy Windows or do something much better and cheaper - Install Ubuntu Linux. Ubuntu Linux is free and open source. It has an awesome UI and automatically downloads and installs all updates for you.nOnce a Printer was not working on my PC (dual-booted to Windows XP). It did not have drivers to run it. I restarted my PC and logged-on to Ubuntu. The Printer worked!nnSo first know a little of your device's OS before commenting SH*T.

i got this laptop at the price 24,500. and i am sure no one cant give this laptop at this price in any other online shopping websites. initially i feel fear to buy this laptop because of user reviews,,,,,,, but i am so much happy with this lapi,,,,, but one issue is dicreasing the value of this lapi,,,, that is drivers,,,,,,,,,,,,, but i am escaped from this issue by using DRIVERS PACK SOLUTION,,,,,,,,, i am using this lapi with win7 64bit os,,,,,,,,,, until now i didnt get any problem with this laptop,,,, and its simply good,,,,,,, nd stylish look,,,, nd thnx to flipkart to give this laptop at unblvble price of 24,500,,,,,,,,,

Its Unbelievable but true at this price points getting a power packed sony laptop is possible only @ FLIPKART !!!nnnGood core i3 2nd generation processor( supports hardware assisted virtualization) with 4gb ramnNice keyboard with good spaced keys and tactile feedback with seperate num pad. Bluetooth 4.0, multi card reader, HDMI, vga ports. n500 GB hard disk. HUGE STORAGEnUSb 3.0 and a good chipset motherboard- Intel H76. nAmazing glossy finish with a great architecture to the body of the laptopnnLaptop comes with drivers CD for both windows 7 and 8. nnSony puts a lot of effort on the display,and here too the display is glossy and it seems it is indeed LED backlight. nnnOverall, it is a great buy keeping the price in mind and WITH THE SONY BRAND AND FEEL OF THE LAPTOP -HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!
