I have the older version of this laptop (SVF15218, same specs except for a 3rd gen i5 processor), and I have to say, I'm thoroughly impressed with it.nnPros:n1. Runs almost every current gen game at medium to high settings without fps drops or any heating issues whatsoever.n2. Great battery life: Upto 4 hours of lightweight work, 2-3 hours of multimedia applications/video playback (depending on whether you're using headphones or speakers), and 1-1.5 hours of heavy gaming. I played Crysis 2 for almost an hour on high graphics, without charger and barely noticed any lag,n3. Sound quality is awesome for a laptop, although the sub-woofer doesn't make it's presence felt.n4. Lightweight and highly portable for a 15 inch laptop.n5. Decent build quality (even though it's all plastic), and killer looks.n6. Smooth mouse-pad, but it's buttons take some getting used to.nnCons:n1. I mentioned it runs "almost" every game, not all: Some games will require a ram upgrade before you can play them, e.g. Call of Duty Ghosts, needs 6 gbs of ram. n2. It's wifi adapter isn't very strong. Connections get unreliable if the router is more than a room away (considering a cheap single antenna router).n3. Key board has less travel - the keys don't go deep enough when pressed. Gamers may want to purchase an external keyboard or game-pad. nnOther than these 3 cons, it's an awesome laptop with a great graphics card (Don't go by the fact that it's only 1 GB, it's benchmarks are pretty high, and it's way better than the ones on other laptops at this price range).

i bought this device 1 weeks before. its touch pad is not good...often u will feel difficult to move the pointer ... morever this device is so high price and doesnt have any good features. its display quality is so low...u would clearly see the pixels..it is running on i5 4th gen processor but it performs so slow while transfering any files from here to there,,,,its speed is only 1.6 ghz which is quite low for a i5 processor...really it is slow....in the same price u will get much better laptops than this shitttt.....really i didnt know anything about sony vaio laptops before buying this shittttttt.........it doesnt have any good features rather than its subwoofer , which produces quite good sound......it looks really stylish and cool from outside..its body is quite eye catching....battery is good....atleast 5 hours........ main problem is touchpad....k bye....
Oh SONY I am so in love with ya! This is good flawless laptop which gets every job done with no flaws. A little heads up since I hate windows 8 i reformatted the hard drive and installed windows 7. Runs all recent games (Crysis 2 at high settings, Need For Speed Most Wanted at medium-high settings, call of duty world at war MAXED OUT ) at pretty high fps(40-50). The thing i loved most about this laptop is its build quality (even though it is plastic). Good job Sony! I would recommend this laptop to any person looking to get decent gaming laptop for under 45k. P.S I uninstalled Windows 8 and installed Windows 7 because some older applications and games were not working in windows 8. No problem with drivers though. :)
awsm prdct at this range...hdd capacity could hv been 1tb...neverthlss its just an awsm buy...fabulous picture quality,graphics,sound,fast processing...and the belief of sony :) guys chk this out
