Verdict
Tecno`s Camon 12 Air is without a shadow of the doubt, a good smartphone. However to oust Redmi, it needed to do better. While the device offers a one-of-a-kind display in its segment, it fails to impress in the performance department.Furthermore, unlike Redmi`s latest budget offerings, the Camon 12 Air features a micro-USB port and ships with an inferior 4,000mAh battery too. Then there`s the price, and for Rs 9,999, it`s 1K more expensive than the Redmi 8. Correspondingly, while the Tecno Camon 12 Air is a great attempt by the company, it doesn`t deserve a recommendation over the Redmi 8.
