I have a Thomson VGA TV since past 20 years and it still works fine. So this is the reason why I chose to be one of the first customer on its re-entry to Indian market. I hope Super Plastronics will continue to keep up this trust factor. Pros:(w.r.t. this price point) 1. Picture and sound Quality is Good. 2. Looks sleek and beautiful. 3. Smart TV OS is simple to use with preloaded Youtube, Netflix, Gmail, Miracast and facebook. Then you have Aptiode and usb which allow you to install almost any app available for Android 5.1(Lolipop) 4. Relatively cheaper than the main competitor in the segment (MI TV 4a). Approximately 900 bucks if you get a wall mount. 5. I like its regular remote over the Mi remote(with some 11 buttons only), as it makes typing a bit easier. Cons: 1. None of the popular Remote apps (Mi Remote, Peel, SURE, Android TV, AnyMote, etc.) worked with either IR blaster or wifi. This is the biggest headache when you want to type, search, etc., i.e. using the smart functions. 2. No bluetooth 3.The Pre-installed apps are outdated. Aptiode coudn't be updated so I had to install the latest version separately. 4. Built quality of back-panel is cheep. 5. 8 gb of memory is too low. Further you can use only 5 gb. You will realise the pain when you want to use multiple apps. 6. Hotstar not working. 7. Kingroot, OneclickRoot didn't work. So I guess its a bit difficult to jailbreak. So can't use apps that need root permissions. Suggestion for buyers: Attach a keyboard and mouse, it will make your life easier if you use a lot of apps. If you want to put the TV on Table, be careful, its very light, so it may fall down. Suggestion for makers: Please...please...please make a remote app which could be used over wifi and IR.

nice TV !... but while connecting my mobile through miracast video is not playing, only sound is coming..same problem while connecting through wifi video start for 1-2 seconds only then stoped.. can you please help me to solve the problem..I have shared image.

Very badly manufactured device. Bad graphics design and a very slow Operating system. They are just using the Thomson brand to sell really cheap products. Buy Mi instead.

I bought a tv on 20 days before, tv is on but not show the picture on a screen... I got huge upset of service under warranty... There is no responce from thomson... its highly disappointed... flipkart also waste of customer service...
