    The major difference between Quick charge 3.0 and Quick Charge 4.0 lies in the range of voltage level supported.  Quick Charge 3.0 supports voltage range between 3.6V to 12 V whereas charge 4.0 supports the range from 3.3V to 20V. Quick Charge 4.0 have the wider range of voltages and hence it gives a better charge efficiency. Apart from the voltage Power plays an important role, Quick charge 3.0 support power of 36W where as 4.0 can have power of 100W.  As per the test conducted it is claimed that Quick charge 3.0 can charge your phone upto 50% in just 30 minutes whereas 4.0 Charge can charge the same in 15 minutes.

This technology is launched by OPPO and is a real boom in the market. The major advantage of using this technology is that it doesnt heat up your device even after using twice the Power compared to normal charging technology.  This technology is generally supported in most of the OPPO devices.
