My experience with Sony, a few years back was terrible, faced too much problem at the service center. My Xpedia zx costing 30k was waterproof, the charging port lid cover got broken after about 15 months. When I went to the service center, they refused because the accessories was not available. So I requested to get the entire phone outer shell to be replaced, that was also refused because again it can not be replaced. The only option they gave me was to get an entire mobile replaced by a Refurbished one for 20k. That's absurd paying 20k just because charging lid is broken. A few months later my phone fell in the water and died, I took it to the service center, It was declared irreparable, so I was offered a refurbished phone for 17k. I got upset, so the manager there asked me surprisingly why you want to use a mobile for more than 1.5 years? Till that date my phone is with sony service center, I never went back to collect it. And I met many guys there with the same problem with Xperia costing around 60k, facing the pain of their waterproof mobiles being repairable.
