This is the best laptop from a well reputed company you could buy. It has a glossy finish, looks good. The screen is great quality, has good contrast and deep vivid colours. The configuration is too good to miss. Which company offers this GPU and 750GB HDD at 32000? The 7670M graphics are way better than any nVidia GT700M Series. This card is an upper middle-level card. I play Far Cry 3 in HD at High settings without any lag and smoothly. Didn't try higher settings and other games. Don't only rely on higher VRAM, quality of GPU is equally important. 7670M is very good for this price. Another best thing is it doesn't heat up and is very quiet. I use it for hours and it remains cool. It's not too heavy as well like some Lenovo models. Speakers are good, no issues with them. I read some 'C' series Toshiba laptops have the worst speakers among laptops. I don't think that applies to this 'L' series model. It's quite loud and clear. Battery lasts for about 3.5 hours using continuously(on WiFi, playing music, youtube, videos and browsing). The mouse touchpad doesn't have scroll. That's the only con i found. Download the drivers from the website, none is supplied. Toshiba is very reliable brand. It's products are not that costly, maybe because it manufactures most of the laptop parts like motherboard, DVD RW, HDD. Maybe something else as well. And the icing on the cake: 3 years warranty(valid for purchase between 1-31st Jan'14! And @Suresh Babu K Jeyakumar: It shows up 2.7GB RAM because the rest 1.3GB RAM is shared by the 7670M graphics card/Intel HD 4000M. It's no issue and perfectly normal. It has an empty slot, install another 4 gig if you require.
order it at 29570 only and got 10% cashback cuz of HDFC... the laptops effective cost fo me is 26500 .... ha ha... and the exiting thing is that, it is able to play games like NFS Rivals at this price....... truly value fo money...... if you are planning then go n get it...
Within 2 days flipkart has delivered the product. I am using this laptop for last 15 days and I didn’t find any issue till now. I am using Windows 8.1 on this laptop. Display and sound clarity is very good – 9/10. Better Battery backup – 7/10 Only 2.7GB is usable out of 4GB RAM. But I am not sure whether this is hardware or software issue. Overall performance is very good. Go for it.
I ordered this laptop on 26th got it on 29th...!!! thanks to flipkart...!!!!! Coming to laptop it was packed very good....... the laptop is fantastic ...... the only negative point is i had to install win7 and drivers.... having a tough time to install and download them. overall the laptop is spectacular ..... i played some high graphical games...i.e.,gta 4,nfs shift,etc.....played very smoothly...!!!! the keyboard has very good keys-typing is very easy and smooth.....even has a numeric keypad.....!! thanks to flipkart for superfast delivery and to toshiba for creating such a laptop...!!!!!
This is a very awesome laptop. I am still using this this. It comes handy for students and is even good as a corporate laptop. The graphics are very good and so is the reliability. Even the design is beautiful.
