Apple has unveiled its latest iPad Pro model powered by the new M5 chip. The M5 boasts a next-generation GPU with a Neural Accelerator in every core, delivering up to 3.5x better AI performance than its predecessor and up to 5.6x faster than older models, enabling demanding creative and professional tasks such as AI image generation and video masking.
The new iPad Pro features a sleek aluminium design, making it the thinnest iPad yet, measuring just 5.3 mm on the 11‑inch model and 5.1 mm on the 13‑inch model. The iPad is also said to maintain incredible strength and durability despite its slim form factor. The iPad Pro is available in Space Black and Silver.

The iPad Pro features a new Ultra Retina XDR display that uses tandem OLED technology, offering 1,000 nits of full‑screen brightness and 1,600 nits peak for HDR content. With ProMotion, True Tone, and an optional nano‑texture glass finish, the display is expected to reduce glare, making it ideal for creators working in varied lighting conditions.
The latest iPad Pro also supports Wi-Fi 7 through the new N1 wireless chip and features the C1X modem on cellular models for up to 50 percent faster mobile data speeds. Running the latest iPadOS 26, the tablet introduces a redesigned interface, advanced windowing, and background task management for improved multitasking. The new iPad Pro is compatible with the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard.
Pre-orders for the iPad Pro start today in India, with prices beginning at Rs 99,990 for the 11-inch Wi-Fi model and Rs 1,29,900 for the 13-inch Wi-Fi model. Students can also claim education discounts, which reduce the price to Rs 89,900. The new iPad Pro hits stores on October 22nd.
