Blaupunkt Launches 32-inch JioTele OS Smart TV in India Starting at Rs 9,699

Blaupunkt has entered the mass-market smart TV segment in India with the launch of its first 32-inch JioTele OS-powered smart TV. Priced aggressively, the new model targets compact rooms and secondary viewing spaces. The brand aims to bring smart features and QLED display technology to budget-conscious buyers.

At Rs 9699, the new 32-inch Blaupunkt JioTele OS Smart TV is on sale starting January 22, 2026, exclusively on Flipkart. HDFC credit card offers will also be available for eligible buyers.

The TV features a 32-inch QLED panel with HDR support, 350 nits brightness, and a bezel-less design. Blaupunkt says this combination delivers sharper visuals, vivid colours, and improved contrast for everyday viewing. The compact form factor makes it suitable for bedrooms, small apartments, and multi-TV households.

On the audio side, the TV packs 36W stereo box speakers with surround sound support. It offers multiple sound modes, including Standard, Sport, Movie, and Music. This should allow users to tune audio output based on content. The company positions this setup as a strong focus on immersive sound in the entry-level segment.

Running on JioTele OS, the TV provides access to over 400 OTT apps, 400 live TV channels, and more than 300 JioGames through the Jio Store. Brand says the interface focuses on simplified navigation and content discovery tailored for Indian viewers. An AI-powered recommendation engine analyses viewing habits, language preferences, and search history to surface personalised content.

Blaupunkt has also integrated multilingual voice search, supporting over 10 Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, and Kannada. The voice-enabled remote includes dedicated shortcut buttons for platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, JioCinema, and Hotstar, enabling quick access and hands-free control.

Under the hood, the TV runs on an Amlogic processor, paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. This configuration is designed to deliver smooth everyday performance for streaming, app usage, and multitasking.

In the entry-level smart TV segment, Blaupunkt competes with brands like Xiaomi, Realme, TCL, and Samsung. It also goes up against value-focused players such as Thomson and Acerpure. While most rivals focus mainly on hardware and aggressive pricing, Blaupunkt seems to differentiate itself through JioTele OS.

Which offers regional voice search and AI-driven content discovery. This content-first approach targets users who prioritise ease of use and localised entertainment. Priced under Rs 10,000, it positions itself as a practical choice for compact homes and secondary TVs.
