Videocon A15

Has been using this mobile for one month now. So far so good. Here are some advantages & disadvantages I found with this mobile.nnAdvantagesn------------------n- Nice looks of a premium smart phonen- Touch response is very goodn- Easily customizable with various apps like any other smart phonen- All normal apps & games works finen- Wifi & 2G internet speeds are goodn- Front camera for video chat (Skype works fine)n- Standard data cable (charging cable acts as data cable)n- Data transfer rate from PC is very good via data cablen- Ringing volume is goodn- Speaker volume is goodn- Proximity sensor works fine (turns off display when using phone close to face)n- G sensor works without any lag (useful for racing games and other applications like gallery, image viewer, etc)n- Pinch to zoom works finen- Video recording quality is goodn- Can set default location for installing apps as SD card (can even move apps to SD card)n- Budget pricingn- Scheduled power on/off featuren- Battery charge level indication (in %) while charging in idle screenn- Pre-installed Google maps application works finen- Sim in use for call is indicated always with a color coden- Pre-installed notepad application is very handyn- Office document viewing/editing is possiblen- PDF files can be read without any issuen- Battery charging time less than 3 hoursn- Gives a battery backup of 2 days on moderate use, 1 day backup on heavy usagennDisadvantagesn-----------------------n- GPS hardware not present, but Google maps works with less than 1Km accuracyn- Primary camera needs good lighting for decent picture clarityn- Beeps for camera self timer is annoyingly loudn- Games requiring heavy graphics are lagging or force closed after some timen- Internal memory is bit low, but can overcome this limitation by installing apps in SD cardn- Videocon PCsuite doesn't detect this phone, need to use a generic PCsuite for android phonesnnnConsidering price of the mobile, features offered in Videocon A15 are really awesome.nA very good smart phone for first time android users.

Videocon A15 is a supreb phone with high features..Which has features as same or above the Galaxy ACE..I felt unhappy with it's camera quality and resolution..but according to the price it is enough..The phone has very stylish look and good operating speed.which supports whatsapp,ppt file ,document file etc.The phone has inbuilt whatsapp,saavn,TOI applications etc.The battery capacity is great.But the head set quqlity is very poor.nConclution:This phone verygood one from videocon family.According to the price this is awesome..nBy arunpothencoden~@ruN~
