The Videocon Krypton 22 is a smooth performer packed up with nice features such as IR blaster, OTG, VoLTE etc. The battery backup is sufficient for a day for normal usage on single charging and the main camera captures mesmerising pictures. However, the handset has average display which is a major disappointment.

The Videocon Krypton 22 flaunts a 5-inch TFT display which has a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Driving the phone is a 1.1GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor assisted by 2GB of RAM and Mali-T720 MP2 GPU. The phone runs on Android v7.0 (Nougat) operating system and supports IR blaster. It comes with an SOS-Be-Safe and panic button which lets the user to share his/her location to close ones during emergency.

The handset gets its energy from a 2,450mAh li-ion battery which keeps the show running for long hours. For networking and sharing, the smartphone offers a wide range of options such as dual SIM, 4G (supports Indian bands), 3G, 2G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, b/g/n. Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS and micro USB.
Camera and Storage
The phone is armed with an 8MP primary camera which captures good quality pictures. A 5MP selfie shooter also results nice images especially in more lights. In terms of storage, the Videocon Krypton 22 houses an internal memory of 16GB. The external slot can read a microSD card upto 64GB. One can also make use of OTG devices for more space.
