The seller Omnitech and Flipkart delivery service is excellent 5 stars for that. Delivery was done under 24 hours from making payment. It was only after that, that the issue started. Free Installation was one of the points why the purchase was initiated in Flipkart. Later came to know it was to be provided by a service provide by name Jeeves, which have some investment from Flipkart as well. Though there were negative feedbacks available I thought those could be one if stray instances, as this is not my first big electonic purchase from flipkart. All previous purchases were a delight. This became a night mare !! courtesy Jeeves. I did receive a call from them the next day of delivery for arranging installation of the AC and fixed up coming Saturday for installation. I started calling them up from Thursday with an intention to pre-pone the installation date to Friday. I have tried calling their Call centre number, where you get stereo typed replies, but they were helpful enough to share local city contact number (New Delhi in this case). The number shared was switched off the whole day (Thursday) i found out another landline number from Jeeves website that went on ringing NO RESPONSE the whole day !!. Friday i started calling them up from morning 10:00 am and my call was picked up sometime around 12:30 and one person after checking his system told me there is no such ticket for installation. Any way he would check and call me back with installation information, the call never came. And phone was not picked up too. I called up Flipkart cust support and got standard reply not to worry it will be installed before Saturday 1:30 pm. Saturday tried calling in all the available number of Jeeves and NO Reply on any numbers !! At 12:30 i called up Voltas and scheduled paid installation at 3:30. The AC was installed by Voltas service partner on Saturday. NOW the FUNNY part, on Sunday got a call from Jeeves Call centre asking for the confirmation, which i gave them a nasty feedback. The audacity of Jeeves went further on Monday when they sent an SMS "We are unable to reach you for the INSTALLATION of your SPLIT AIR CONDITIONER" They still survive in today's world by "providing service" nIf you see Free Installation !!! BEWARE !!! Check if it Jeeves !!! Then FORGET IT and fend for your own. nI would strongly suggest Flipkart to get rid of service provided by Jeeves (Though flipkart might own some shares) and pass on the cost benefit to consumers who might get service from elsewhere / manufacturer. It might earn some more brownie points than creating negative impressions.
bought this AC at 25k and and was charged about 6500 for installation.npathetic installation service given by flipkart's 3rd party installation service.(jevees)ntechnicians were just pain in ass.They carry the chisel and hammer for making the holes and make the room and floor very dirty and took around 6 hrs for installation.....nand gave receipt of 6500 for installation.Next day i called on the contact number mentioned in the receipt anonymously and inquired for the installation charge ,i came to know that i was cheated by the installation technician.nnso guys you can buy AC from flipkart with no issues but prefer to call the respective companies to schedule the installation.
