After failing to purchase Mi TV 4 55 inches multiple times in every flash sale starting 22nd Feb for one month, I left the pursuit and purchased this Vu 55" Official Android TV on 20th March.n• Purchased for Rs.55,999/-n• Item got delivered in 4 days.n• Wall mounting is done by next day.nnPros:n▬▬n👍 Pure flavor android UI - Same look and feel as that of an android phone, so if you are an android user, skimming around would be a breeze.nExample: Layout of settings panel, Apps running, Home screen settings etc., nn👍 Super fast UI ─ Go to Mx player, start playing a video and then press 'Back' → Boom! goes back to folder view instantaneously.nSame with any application of home screen. Incredibly fast UI without any lag.nn👍 Video quality ─ This is actually quite subjective, what I like, you may not. But as per me, video quality is quite good and sharp.nn👍 Voice remote with Google's speech recognition ─ Work's the same way as that of your android phone, very very accurate. And personalized too. (Deciphers words based on your history of usage too)nThe google assistant is quite charming, you say "play Arjun reddy break up video song" when you are on home screen, it opens Youtube app automatically and starts playing.nnCons:n▬▬n👎 Looks little bulky.n👎 Video appearance settings like Brightness, sharpness are trickier to set. As you can't open that menu while the video is playing.n nKey positives compared to Mi TV:n▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬n(Points about Mi TV obtained from Mi TV Flipkart reviews)n► Stock availability (Obviously!)n► Ease of inserting HDMI/USB cables. The Side panel is already easily accessible. Even the bottom is accessible as the wall mount schema allows TV to be lifted from the bottom until certain angle with the wall. n► Pure Android experience and availability of Google play store. There's not much need to sideload apps.n► Youtube supports 4K videos too. (Mi TV's youtube app stops at 1080p)n► Voice-enabled remote. No absolute need to type anything. And also, search in apps like youtube auto-fills and starts giving suggestions even if you start typing.n► Upscaling of standard definition (non-HD) content is better.n► Availability of 3.5mm audio jack slot. Not everyone would have advanced home theatre systems or Bluetooth speakers.nnFew useful points to users:n▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬n♦ TV language would be set as "English", that's fine. But Go to Settings side menu → Speech and set language as "English (India)"nIf it's English(US) or something else, it won't recognize your speech properly.nOnce it's English(India), it would easily recognize your accent and get the correct results.nI tried voice commands involving telugu words like "Play pilla nuvvu leni jeevitham video songs" and it recognized perfectly!nn♦ If you plan to use the in-built sound bar, remove the plastic wrap on the sound bar. (Indians are typically used to keeping the 'new' packing as it is)nOtherwise, that plastic wrap is messing with the sound output from speaker giving a "membrane vibration" kind of noise affecting the overall audio quality. nn♦ For pairing the bluetooth remote, start scanning for bluetooth devices in the TV and press the center "Enter/OK" button on the bluetooth remote.nPairing happens instantaneously. Once paired, it's forever paired, no need to pair again unless you factory reset the TV.nn♦ There is a San disk 8 GB pen drive given which is already inserted into the TV on unboxing. There is no mention of this in the accessories list.nThe pendrive consists of few APK files and update packages, which I guess are usable if there's no internet connection to start with.nn♦ You can disable Google play music/google play videos related recommendations from settings Menu → Home screen. I guess most of us won't 'rent' a single movie for Rs.100/- or purchase it for Rs.500/- as Google movies app expects.nn♦ You can re-order the apps as per your choice. Just press and hold the "OK" button in bluetooth remote once you are in the Apps row. Re-ordering window comes up.nn♦ Install "Raaga" or any other music app and press "Home" button when the song is playing. Song plays in the background. No need to be in the app screen for that.nnI recommend this TV to anyone willing to purchase this.nAnd, it's definitely worth it over the Mi TV 4. Don't wait for the flash sale.

Best TV... No regret to pay more and waiting for mit4 on flash sale!!!!, the build quality of the product is good, audio and video quality is Superb... HD content is good to watch, even SD channels look good.... Android OS works likes a gem... No lack.. YouTube, Netflix, hotstar, Sony liv works perfectly... Even we get 4K video in this TV on YouTube.....also voice search works absolute fine... My kid is enjoying as he can't type too small.. Cartoon on voice.. Lol... Last - Best delivery by flipkart within 16 hrs of order and quick installation by jeeves on same day.. New TV within 24hrs up and ready !!!!

Amazing Delivery Time and Super Fast Installation. So far it has been amazing experience completely satisfied with service. Even I have opted for extended warranty offered by Jeeves. Will update this post if we come across any issues or problems.

Let me tell you first why I am giving 4 stars!!! n- I bought the TV 4 days ago. A technician from Jeeves came and installed the TV yesterday, albeit he was supposed to come a day earlier. I'm just nitpicking here..n- I started noticing some light bleed in the top left corner and right bottom. I was worried as the TV was just installed hours ago. Called Flipkart and told them the same, and they scheduled for technician to come and have a look and confirm for replacement. But after doing some initial research, I found out that the panels depending on where you are and the whether, tend to expand and contract, creating light bleed (clouding effect). My Bangalore counterparts will understand the saying "kasige thakkanthe kajjaya" 😆. Can't expect it to be perfect for the price I paid. Also, my hi-end WiFi router was right next to the TV. And after I moved the WiFi router behind the TV (from right next to the panel), clouding dissipated completely. So cancelled the technician visit. n- The sound, man these are some average speakers (install sound bar if possible). Again, for the price point I shouldn't complain I suppose. HDR 10 would have been nice 😈..n- Finally, the bezels aren't thin like MiTV 4, but hey at least I don't to fight for a TV in a flea market (which I have to pay for). nnAnd now to the positives:n- I am in awe and love with the capabilities of seamless, vanilla smooth experience of pure Android TV. n- Guys, you have to watch the TV and its 4k res contents in person, as it will blow your mind. Motion smoothing works perfectly. Blacks are "almost perfect" blacks (Cannot be compared to OLED TVs). I can just put endless 4k videos on youtube, and get lost in it, or utilize the features to Netflix and start binge watching favourite contents. And since it is DLED, not Edge lit, the brightness and contrast is perfect. n- My living room is 18 ft, and it feels like I am sitting in a theatre. Again, you have to see it in person. n- Don't hesitate to buy this if you are willing to shed some extra bucks and don't won't to wait in an endless queue (Which u will have to if you really want MiTv). Its worth it. nnPS. MiTv fans, don't @ me or hate me. This is just my personal opinion.
