Based on the feedback from my friends i have chosen this product and flipkart delivered it on time. At the time of installation we found the product received was the damaged one. Raised return request on 23rd sept still the product not yet picked up from my place. Trust me the replacement policy is very pathetic. Customer care guys it is wait and replacement policy. Here the waiting period is one month guys. May be the TV is good but the service and policies are very bad.

I am using Sony Bravia (42 inch) and Samsung 43 inch full HD Led tv from last 3/4 Years but the VU 4K quality is atpar from the expectation .nnPicture quality is awsome and Flipkart delivered the product within two days from the Order .nnThose who are planning to buy OLED , UHD of Sony, Samsung,LG then do not waste money , simply buy VU 4k Tv.

This is a beautiful product that delivers unbelievably high value for money. Have been using it for past 6 days and having tested it totally am posting this review.nnPicture Quality is absolutely high class and surely at par with LG and Samsung. 4k and full hd videos look beautiful with very rich and lively colours and contrast. I feel upscaling actually works on this tv. Sound is very passable too. The finish is premium. Youtube, netflix, screen mirroring and wifi works flawlessly. Setup wizard installs the tv in matter of seconds. The youtube and netflix push function from mobile is extremely handy and it greatly compensates for the absence of a magic remote.nnThe few downsides of this TV include minor backlight bleeding on corners of the screen and in some random areas in very dark images. The operating system and software is very average. Many of the features like ultra smooth motion, ultra dimming and HDR do not have any setting options in menu and one can't ascertain their presence in the tv nor could control or fine tune it. Also screen resolution can't be manually set if required. Opera webstote is rubbish and totally useless.nnnI will further update my observations next week. Not too sure about the longivity of the product or the quality of after sales service that will available when required but as of now this tv seems a jackpot at 50k. Infact it would have been a jackpot even if it was priced 20-30% higher than it's current price.nnGo for it guys. Thankyou flipkart for the product, timely delivery and quick and smooth installation. I have got this VU 55 inches iconium TV from flipkart. There are few things that I have to mention here.nnAbout Flipkart :n-----------------------nn1) I ordered this Television on 16th Dec, I got the message that, it will be delivered on 18th Dec between 10:00AM - 1:00PM slot and its spot on. They have delivered the product on time.nn2) I got a call from VU Service centre asking for date/time to provide installation/demo. I have provided appropriate date/time, service centre person came on time and this is where trouble started. That guy was too casual, when removing the Television from carton box, While removing, he hit the TV on dining table and it was huge sound (My heart was broken), TV was not even 2 hours old.nn3) I immediately called Flipkart to report it,. Things got escalated very soon and I got a call from Backend team they listened to my concern, and have arranged for replacement and I got brand new piece again on Sunday (20-Dec). I was very happy and thankful for flipkart team, as they kept their promise.nnAbout VU Television:n-------------------------------nnWhile coming to technical review of Television, I feel pity when people purchase spend lakhs and lakhs of rupees towards so called big brand TVs as the picture quality of VU TV is awesome, brightness/contrast was awesome. I was able to play 4K content from external hard disk and it was mesmerizing.nnSmart features are also good. I was able to browse, play videos on youtube, sign into facebook, was able to use picasa and other application on ease.nnWe even went to nearest showroom after purchasing the TV, just to compare and see the quality of branded TV's available in market and I should say, I won't regret buying this TV.nnCons:n---------n1) Remote control model is not good.n2) Typing is hell from remote control and is time consuming (One should definitely have wireless keyboard/mouse).n3) There is no skype application to make video call.nnPlease come up with your doubts, I shall try to resolve your queries.nnI give rating as 4 not 5 because of cons, that I have mentioned.

Received faulty product as it was not powering on ..TV unit was without wall mounting unit .So terribly disappointed . Hoping to get replacement soon . I want to add few more interesting facts about Flipkart plus jeevs call centre people . Once u call them and share your problem they will laugh on ur problems and make delays in solution on every possible way . Let me share my experience .. TV was faulty on arrival itself and was not powering on same was confirmed by jeevs technician on first day itself to his office as well by me to Flipkart . But then also they took another 4 day to send same person for tech visit don't know why when same person reported faulty very first day itself ..after that again registered for uninstalation after 3 more days and that is laughable when TV was faulty without wall mounting unit and very first day it was uninstalled then why the **** again and again delaying replacement ??? Till now replacement order is in order status and not even in process state on Flipkart delivery status and delivery is scheduled for tomorrow lol ..now delivery date extended further ...Mr. Bansal if u have time plz read it . Any way to add pictures ?? I want to add one picture that to open 4 nuts from old wall mounting unit installation guy was asking for 350 denied installation of new TV ..I want to share that picture..what a good service ..clap .15 days past ..counting further .
