When Apple added MagSafe to iPhones back in 2020, a whole new range of accessories followed. And now, apart from iPhones, devices like the Google Pixel 10 range also supports it. You can also add the same functionality to other phones using MagSafe-enabled cases.
Spigen's Selfie Stick Tripod S572 is a handy accessory which makes use of MagSafe. Spigen is among the most reputed brands for cases and accessories, and the selfie stick features the same trademark quality which the brand is known for.
Priced at Rs 2,199, the Spigen Selfie Stick Tripod, as the name suggests, is an extendable selfie stick cum tripod. It comes with a wireless Bluetooth remote and a rubber holder for added safety.
Weighing jusu 163 g and made of aluminium, the selfie stick is both lightweight & sturdy. At one end are three foldable legs that have non-slip rubber pads at the bottom. At the other end is the circular MagSafe connector.
The wireless Bluetooth remote is powered by a coin battery & an extra one is included. The remote attaches magnetically to one of the three tripod legs. These legs, when folded, act as the handle. On the other end, the MagSafe connector can be rotated & its arm can be tilted for added flexibility.
It's super simple to mount your phone on the selfie stick -- it just snaps on. Of course, you need an iPhone or any other phone with a MagSafe case. Then you can go ahead and use your selfie stick, or unfold the tripod legs to prop it up.
Extendable up to 24.4 inches, the selfie stick is useful for shooting images or videos. You can use it handheld or prop it up on a flat surface, with the Bluetooth remote coming in handy.
Apart from shooting, I also find the Spigen Selfie Stick Tripod to keep my iPhone propped up next to my laptop when I'm working. This helps keep my phone at eye-level and access it quickly as and when I need to use it.
The Spigen Selfie Stick Tripod stands out thanks to its sturdy build quality, the strong magnetic connection and attention to detail. The Bluetooth remote and rubber holder are useful additions & the accessory makes a strong case for itself if you're a content creator, frequent traveller, or someone who shoots a lot of pics & videos.
