Intro
Many folks still prefer jotting down notes, or annotate documents the old fashioned way. Styli or digital pens can be quite handy for this, and are also useful for those who want to explore their creative side. The JOT Pencil 2 from UltraProlink is a universal stylus that works with both Android & iOS, be it a phone or tablet.
Price & Unboxing
Priced affordably at Rs 1,999, the JOT Pencil 2 comes in a compact box, and the pack also includes three interchangeable POM nibs to suit different requirements.
Design
Clad in white, the JOT Pencil 2 looks very similar to the Apple Pencil and features a smooth, matte finish, with a flat edge on the side. A Type-C port is placed closer to the non-business end, along with three blue LEDs that indicate battery status.
Features
The two biggest highlights of the JOT Pencil 2 are that it can work seamlessly with both Android & iOS devices (anything that has a capacitive touchscreen), and the fact that it doesn't require any Bluetooth pairing. It's truly universal in that sense.

The 1.5mm tip enables precise input, and the pencil is quite lightweight... tipping the scales at a mere 13.3 grams. A full charge takes just about half an hour, and the built-in battery is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of use on a single charge.
Usage
The UltraProlink JOT Pencil 2 works directly, without needing Bluetooth pairing or any additional app. Just double tap on the top to power it on, and start writing or drawing on any capacitive screen.

In our usage, the JOT Pencil 2 worked flawlessly... we tried it with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and even the OnePlus Pad 3. It's a cinch to use and works smoothly. While it doesn't have advanced features like pressure sensitivity, it works well for most other tasks.
Verdict
While the UltraProlink JOT Pencil 2 might not be ideal for professionals involved in creative work, it works well for other tasks like note-taking, doodling and annotating PDFs etc. Its universal compatibility, easy usage, and affordable price make it a handy accessory.
