Verdict:nThe Xiaomi Mi Max is big; big on entertainment, performance and size. It is a great device for media consumption. While some may find it a bit large, if a big screen phone is what you seek, the Mi Max is a very good smartphone to choose.nnKey Highlights: nGreat display for viewing content nSmooth performance nFeels premium nExcellent battery lifenNo heating issuesnPhablet sized (173.1 x 88.3 x 7.5 mm) nAverage camera performance in low-light conditionsnnThe Experience: nClearly meant for big screen fans, the Xiaomi Mi Max is all about scale and no matter how you look at it, the device is humongous. In terms of entertainment, whether it’s movies, gaming or even extensive web browsing, the device lends itself pretty well. The full HD display is fairly bright and offers good quality in terms of colours. On the overall performance and appeal front, the Mi Max is fast, feels premium and offers excellent battery life for a big screen device. In terms of real-world scenario, the Mi Max will run all modern day heavy applications and games with ease and is a capable multitasking device as well. Battery-life will vary from 2-3 days depending upon usage and that by itself is a good indication of how the device is well suited for power users (once you get past the sheer size and weight). Staying on the topic of multitasking and power users, we are happy to report that the smartphone does not suffer from any heating issues. The Snapdragon 650 SoC offers sweet performance without setting off any alarm bells on the thermal map. The speakers on the Mi Max offer adequate sound in terms of loudness and quality, ensuring justice to the large screen device. nThe camera on the Xiaomi Mi Max is actually one of its weaker areas, especially when you consider the fact that at its current price point, there are phones that offer better camera performance. In low-light conditions, the images suffer from loss of detail and excessive sharpening. However, in bright daylight conditions, the Mi Max will surprise you with good colours and adequate sharpness across the board.
Just like redmi note 3 bada bhai, love multimedia experience on it.
