Our take on Xiaomi s pumped up budget warrior, the Redmi 2 Prime
Sep 30 2015 By Ketaki BhojnagarwalaThe Redmi 2 Prime is a solid smartphone for its price, and can handle most day-t0-day tasks, including gaming, without faltering. The smartphone faces some competiton in the way of the YU Yuphoria (review), Lenovo A6000 Plus (review) and InFocus M350, but in our opinion, is still one of the best budget smartphones priced under Rs 8,000. And to address the question we posed at the beginning of the review – should you opt for the Redmi 2 or Redmi 2 Prime? Well, if you`re looking fo

I was eagerly waiting for the release of Redmi 2 Prime for months because of its awesome specifications like Snapdragon 410 Quad Core Processor(Same as Moto G 3rd Generation), 2 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM etc. and I purchased the very next day of its release(my faith ;-(nIt shows problems from the first day of use and are:-nn1. Proximity Sensor not workingn2. Poor microphone, Voice sound very low at the other endn3. Earpiece (top speaker) heats up a lot within 30 seconds of phone callsnSo far I could found these problems and you can also check the internet about these problems with xiaomi phones, almost everyone posted the same problems...nnAnd the most funny thing when I tried to replace the item, got mail from Flikart(No. 1 E-commerce website in India) says that the seller disapproved your return request...WOW...nnBut it got a good interface MIUI, which can be updated into MIUI 6.6.8, decent camera, speaker...nnI hope they might clear all the bugs with new update MIUI 7 and introduces new bugs. :-PnnHappy Buying...
