Salora Arya Z4 with 5-inch display and Android Nougat launched for Rs 4,499

The home-bred handset maker, Salora has added a new smartphone to its Arya Z series of handsets in India. The newest launch from the brand is dubbed the Arya Z4 and falls into the sub-Rs 5,000 segment in India. The successor to the Arya Z3 also marks the brand’s debut in the 4G VoLTE niche.

Coming to the spec sheet of the handset, the Arya Z4 has been equipped with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The handset also comes with an aluminium alloy chassis, which is a novelty in the VFM segment. The performance of the handset is driven by a quad-core processor that has been clocked at 1.3GHz and mated to a gig of RAM. The onboard storage of the handset has been pegged at 8GB, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. For imaging, the entry-level smartphone offers a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and autofocus. For selfies and video calling, there is a 2-megapixel unit on the front. The software side of things is managed by Android 7.0 Nougat . The smartphone sips power from a 2,400mAh battery.
