    18 Feb 2013 | gsmarena

Going by sales in the past year alone, it`s easy to forget that HTC still makes some of the best hardware in the smartphone game. Despite the fact that it was the first to release a smartphone with a dual-core Krait chipset, the first to launch a quad-core, and the first to put a fullHD display on a phone, the company`s market share has dwindled over the last few quarters. Indeed, while there wasn`t much wrong with the HTC One S and One X, they b...

Verdict: The Butterfly leaves no doubt about how important it is to HTC to reclaim lost ground in the smartphone game. The device is good-looking, blazing fast, and has the best display in the business bar none. Those are the right boxes to tick if you`re aft...

The phone has made it to the Indian shores and interestingly even though it features a gigantic screen, HTC doesn`t like to call it a phablet (a term popularly used for 5-inch+ phones). Design/ HardwareWe found the design of the phone to be really attractive, and the first thing that one notices is that despite the big 5-in...

Verdict: Not available in the UK, it's worth reading about the HTC Butterfly to whet your appetite for the full HD smartphones we expect this year. But we wouldn't say it is worth paying over the odds for a grey import....

I figured I’d show you guys my Butterfly, so here’s a quick unboxing. As you know, the HTC Butterfly launched in India yesterday, and we’ve been lucky enough to have ours for a week. That 1080p screen has really grown on me, but here’s a brief unboxing before I go into that. [divider] [divider]...

    12 Feb 2013 | tech2

HTC has already kicked off 2013 with a bang by launching India’s first smartphone with a Full HD display. This trend will soon pick up pace as Sony gets ready to launch the Xperia Z, followed by Samsung and other OEMs, who’ll announce their flagships at MWC 2013 in a few weeks. As it stands now, the HTC Butterfly is the only handset in the market with a Full HD display that gives full reign over the high-end segment. Priced at iPhone ...
