Bought this laptop in chennai ritchie street, as this was unavailable in flipkart. bargained in a shop and finally bought it for 25000. 1000 rs cheaper than flipkart. now, comes the pros and cons of the laptop.nnProsnn1. earlier i used thinkpad t400, which is 14 inch laptop. I am afraid whether this keyboard ll be suitable for programming . Acer aspire comes with a standard keyboard, so I can type as fast as in my previous laptop.n2. very lightweight. nearly 1.5 kg.n3. 11.6 inch screen with 1368 x 768 resolution. quite easy to ready and i dont find problem while I do my programming too.nnConsn1. touchpad is quite buggy. I am sure, you may need a external mouse. n2. Doesn't have any hardware switches for wifi or volume control. You need to access via the function keys.n3. Speakers are not so good. Again , you may need external speakers, in case you need to watch movies.n4. No harddisk process indicators. I find only two LEDs. One for the power and the other for wifi connectivity. There is no LED indicator for the harddisk processing.nnnnRemember , this is a not a notebook, but a netbook. But you can use it for programming also, as it contains pentium dual core processors. Also this is not for a gamer. You can use it for web browsing, managing office suites and web programming and sometimes watch movies. You can also upgrade the RAM. contains an empty slot for additional RAM.nnnOverall verdict.nI found a best laptop for my needs.
