Display and Build

The Acer C720 (NX.SHEAA.016) Chromebook poses a 11.6-inch Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD LED backlit ComfyView display which has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and provides clear outdoor visibility. It is encased in a solid grey coloured outfit which has a waistline of 20.3mm and a weight of 1.2kg so that you can easily tote around with it.

CPU and OS

Under the hood, the laptop is loaded with a 1.7GHz Intel Core i3 processor from the fourth generation series. It is paired with a standard 4GB DDR3 RAM which operates at 1,600MHz and is further expandable up to 8GB via two DIMM slots. For better management of rich games and videos, there is integrated Intel HD 4400 GPU. It runs on Google Chrome OS which is the main reason for its name.

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

The Acer C720 (NX.SHEAA.016) Chromebook accounts for the video calling needs of the user with an Acer Crystal Eye webcam which can record HD videos and inbuilt microphone. The 32GB SSD flash memory ensures super fast response but may create shortage of space. But then, it was built for cloud computing.

Battery and Connectivity

Fuelled by a 3 cell Li-Po battery, the Acer C720 (NX.SHEAA.016) Chromebook claims to deliver up to 8.5 hours of backup. Connectivity features include WLAN, Bluetooth v4.0, HDMI out, digital media reader, one USB 3.0 slot and one USB 2.0 slot.
