The Acer Aspire E1-522A (NX.M81SI.008) is targeted at people who can't afford to spend much for buying a notebook. On one hand, it disappoints with APU processor and 2GB RAM and on the other, it impresses with the Windows 8 OS and DVD RW optical drive. Other surprising features are support for Gigabit Ethernet and USB 3.0 port.

The Acer Aspire E1-522A (NX.M81SI.008) carries a 15.6-inch HD TFT LCD display with LED backlit and a native resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is wrapped in a classic all black outfit which looks professional but a bit too thick with a thickness of 33 mm and a weight of 2.4 kg.
 
Processor and OS
 
Doing the duty under the hood of the Acer Aspire E1-522A (NX.M81SI.008) is a 1.5GHz APU Dual Core A4-5000 processor which works in tandem with a 2GB DDR3 RAM that is justified by the price. For better performance, you can boost the RAM’s capacity up to 8GB via 2 unused DIMM slots. The AMD Radeon graphics card handles demanding games and movies well.
