The Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MEPSI.001) has a host of smart features which are not available in many high priced notebooks. With Core i3 at its heart, the laptop certainly delivers a great configuration for its price tag.

Display and Design

 

The Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MEPSI.001) arrives with a 15.6-inch TFT LCD LED backlit panel with ComfyView technology and HD (1,366 x 768 pixels) resolution. It is encased in a decent looking 25.3mm thick black body which can be easily carried around.

 

Processor and OS

 

On the inside, this Acer Aspire laptop features a 1.8GHz Intel Core i3 3217U processor from the 3rd generation series and built on the QM77 Express chipset. Its 2GB DDR3 RAM functioning at 1600MHz may not be able to support powerful multitasking needs but can be expanded up to 8GB. The Intel HD 4000 graphics processor handles rich graphics smoothly. In terms of software platform, it has the 64-bit Linux OS which may not be known to everyone.

 

Camera, Storage and Multimedia

 

The Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MEPSI.001) scores well in terms of the webcam with its Acer Crystal Eye shooter capable of shooting 720p HD videos. It has the typical 500GB SATA hard disk. There are dual stereo speakers with MS Sound compatible technology.

 

Additionally, you can transfer data through disks at lightning fast speeds thanks to the 8X DVD SuperMulti DVD Drive having dual layer support. The laptop also has a sufficiently large touchpad supporting multiple gestures and two finger pinch and scroll mode. You can enjoy comfortable typing with the Acer Fine Touch keyboard.

 

Battery and Connectivity

 

The notebook promises to run continuously for up to 4 hours with its 4 cell Li-ion battery. Connectivity features include Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, WLAN, Bluetooth v2.1, 2 USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, HDMI out with HDCP, digital media reader and VGA port.
