Verdict

Despite being a low budget laptop, the Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MGRSI.005) surprises you with many out of the box features like HD webcam, massive 1TB hard disk, nice speakers, powerful optical drive, Gigabit Ethernet, high speed USB port and portable design. However, you will have to bear with the slow performance which is obvious in this range.

Limited to simple tasks

Display and Design

The Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MGRSI.005) sports a 15.6-inch Acer TFT LCD display with LED backlit and CineCrystal to offer comfortable visuals with enhanced brightness. It poses images at a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. It is encased in a 25.4 mm thick all black body which has a weight of 2.3 kg.

CPU and Platform

Doing the duty under the hood is a 2.1Ghz Intel Pentium quad-core N3520 processor from the 3rd generation family. Assisting it is a paltry 2GB DDR3 RAM which can be expanded up to 8GB via 2 user accessible memory slots. The machine can deal with just simple videos and games with the preloaded Intel HD GPU. It runs on complicated 64 bit Linux OS.

The Acer Aspire E1-570 (NX.MGRSI.005) carries an Acer Crystal Eye HD webcam which is a huge bonus in this price range. The 1TB SATA HDD offers more than sufficient storage space and is hardly available in many higher priced notebooks.
