The Acer Aspire E5-551G (NX.MLESI.009) laptop is an ideal choice for whom storage capacity is a major priority. As far as performance is concerned, the user can run high end games and apps since the laptop packs in very good configuration. However, the webcam fails to capture quality videos due to low resolution.

A smooth performer with enormous storage space

Display and Configuration

The Acer Aspire E5-551G (NX.MLESI.009) laptop features a 15.6-inch HD LED active matrix TFT colour LCD display and has a screen resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels. Acting as the brain of the system, is a 1.9GHz AMD quad-core A10-7300 processor aided by 8GB of DDR3 RAM. If not sufficient, the user can increase the RAM upto 16GB. A 2GB AMD Radeon R7 M265 graphics engine is also there to output class picture quality.

Camera, Battery and Input Devices 

In order to enjoy video calling and do recordings, there is a webcam and digital microphone present. The laptop is fuelled by a 6 cell li-ion battery which renders good amount of backup for long hours. There are input devices namely - a touchpad with multi-touch gestures support and a standard keyboard which are quick to respond. One can make use of an 8x super-multi DVD drive when needed.

Connectivity and Storage

In terms of networking, the laptop offers options such as Ethernet 10/100/1000 BASE-T, Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, two USB 2.0 slots, one USB 3.0 slot, an HDMI out, a digital media reader, a headphone jack, a microphone jack and a SD card reader. The laptop houses a massive 2TB SATA hard disk, letting the user save lot of different files without worrying about storage space.
